Paul McCartney performs on Ed Sullivan Theater roof.flv

NEW YORK (CNN) -- Paul McCartney has come to New York and he wants to shout it from the rooftops. To promote his concert at Citi Field this Friday, the former Beatle performed Wednesday afternoon on the roof above the Ed Sullivan Theater marquee before his appearance on "Late Night with David Letterman," which is taped in the theater. Wednesday's performance began at 5:30 pm ET and included a set of classics including "Get Back," "Band on the Run," "Helter Skelter" and "Back in the USSR." Sporting a pink button-up shirt and suspenders, McCartney played to a huge crowd that blocked off traffic near the intersection of 53rd Street and Broadway. July 15, 2009
Exiting the Ed Sullivan Theatre and Joe Jonas celebrity sighting

This is the sixth and final part of my video from Monday August 22, 2011, which was my sixth day of sightseeing in New York City. This video shows my experience leaving the Ed Sullivan Theatre after watching a live taping of the Late Show with David Letterman. After leaving the building I stood around the celebrity entrance/exit watching the guests leaving. I also saw Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers entering the building. Many young teenage girls were standing at the railing and were screaming with excitment! As a neutral observer, I found the moment when he walked past the railing where I was standing very entertaining. The girls were just going crazy for this kid who I'd barely even heard of before. Check out my next video to hear about my experences on Day 7 visiting the Empire State Building Observation Deck and exploring the area in and around central park.

This is the third part of my video from Thursday August 18, 2011, which was my second day of sightseeing in New York City. This video shows my journey seeing Carnegie Hall, The CBS Building, and The Julliard School of Music. I also went to see the Ed Sullivan Theatre where the Late Show with David Letterman is taped. Around the corner I saw Rupert Jee's Hello Deli, which unfortunately was closed when I visited it. I also found the spot where they drop items off the roof of the Ed Sullivan Theatre on the Late Show. After that I took the Hudson River bike path north to Riverside Park. I toured around the full span of Riverside Park. Check out my next video to see a War ship, UPS headquarters, and Pasta Bistro, which is the restaurant where I had dinner that night. Shortly after she was crowned winner of Survivor: One World during the finale at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City, Kim Spradlin spent some time talking with RealityTVMagazine.com's Ryan Haidet. During the chat, Kim revealed her thoughts on the game, talked about her relationships throughout and even discussed fan criticisms that this season was boring.

Chelsea Meissner Survivor: One World red carpet interview

Chelsea Meissner was the country girl on Survivor: One World who started off the season by catching several chickens with her bare hands. She made it all the way to the final three, but didn't receive a single vote from the jury, which gave Kim Spradlin the title of sole Survivor and the $1 million prize that goes with it. Immediately after the live reunion show at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City, Chelsea talked with RealityTVMagazine.com's Ryan Haidet on the red carpet. She explained how being on Survivor was right up her alley, discussed why she thinks nobody voted for her to win and offered her thoughts on Kim's victory.

Christina Cha Survivor: One World red carpet interview

Christina Cha was an early target on Survivor: One World, but she was able to escape elimination multiple times throughout the game. She made it all the way to the final four in one of the strangest ways ever seen on Survivor almost seeming to give up when she got down to the end. Immediately following the live reunion show at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City on Sunday, May 12, 2012, Christina told RealityTVMagazine.com's Ryan Haidet that she was playing the game way harder than it seemed. She defended her strategies saying she didn't want to reveal to the other players that she was a big fan of the show with knowledge on how to win the game.

The Doors Light My Fire Live at The Ed Sullivan Show 1967 Full "Original Broadcast"

Visit "The Doors Portal" www.facebook.com The Doors Light My Fire Live at The Ed Sullivan Show 1967 "Full" "On September 17, 1967, The Doors gave a memorable performance of "Light My Fire" on The Ed Sullivan Show.[15] According to Ray Manzarek, network executives asked that the word "higher" be removed in favor of "better." The group initially agreed to this, but nonetheless performed the song in its original form, either because they had never intended to comply with the request, or Jim Morrison was nervous and forgot to make the change (Manzarek has given conflicting accounts). Either way, "higher" was sung out on national TV, and a furious Ed Sullivan canceled another six shows that had been planned, to which Jim Morrison reportedly said to a show producer: "Hey man. We just did the Sullivan Show." In this infamous appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show, The Doors are asked to modify the word 'higher' in "Light My Fire". The Doors agree, and do so in rehearsal. The band opens the show with a performance of their new single 'People Are Strange' and conclude with 'Light My Fire', but during the live broadcast Jim sings 'Light My Fire' as it was originally recorded. The Doors are never invited back. The show is re-broadcast on July 7, 1968. RECORDING DATE: 09/17/1967 LOCATION: Ed Sullivan Theatre - NY PRODUCTION: CBS HOST: Ed Sullivan
