So lets start out playing example #2 with a straight 8ths groove. Straight 8ths means that we will be playing a steady stream of 8th notes with no syncopation. *****READ DESPCRIPTION***** For those of you that don't know this is the famous "Riffle Cull" developed by Dad Stevens. It involves culling cards to desired positions during a riffle shuffle. What you can't see in the video is that before I began the cull I was legitimately shuffling the deck. After a series of shuffles I turned over the top card (which was an 8). My goal then was to cull the other 3 eigths and stack them so dealer turns quads on the flop, 6 handed game. After I turn over the top card is when I have finished legitimate shuffles to randomly mix the cards, and I begin the culling process. This is obviously still in the works but feedback would be much appreciated so I can improve my technique. Thank you and enjoy. Dan :D

Fan made tribute custom clip that I made to one of best sequences of the John Ronald Ruel Tolkien works, the bloody Battle at Helm's Deep. This video put together the first Lord Of The Rings movie (made in 1978, directed by Ralph Bakshi and produced by Saul Zaents) and a metal song about this battle. The main characters on the battle are on the video (such as Gandalf, Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, Théoden, the Rohirrim, the uruk-hai orcs, Sarumam, Gríma worn tongue etc), but I also included some other important events and characters of the animated film (Boromir, Smeágol Gollum, Rivendall, Galadriel and Lothlórien, the four hobbits - Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin, Gandalf aganist the Morgoth's Balrog, Moria, Treebeard etc...). ::: The Movie ::: The LOTR animated movie covers the first two original Tolkien book's ("The Fellowship of the Ring" and the "Two Towers"), a second movie ("The Return of The King") was, unfortunelly, never made. Bakshi movie is also remebered its extensive use of rotoscoping.This film is cited as an influence on Peter Jackson's LOTR triology. I chose this one to do the video becuase I belive it goes better with a straight forward metal song and this movie are more like the original books (but still Tom Bombadil is missed). I couldn't get the sizing right to have the score playing with the music, so if you actually cared about that, sorry. If anyone is actually interested in seeing the score, I can upload it for you if you ask. This was made in Sibelius 6. The instrumentation was a Concert Orchestra minus String Section plus Pitched Percussion. It's slower than any of my other pieces, but also the most motivated in its own way. it was interesting working with dotted notes in 5/4 time. You can subdivide it into 5 dotted eigths and 5 sixteenths, which is how I got the general sound for the middle part of the song.

This will define the basic tonality or sound of the chords and scales you will be playing. I show you how to find and play both a Major and Minor 3rd. Then I will show you what is meant by the interval of a 10th, which is an Octave above either the Major or Minor 3rd. Playing a 10th will let your ears hear the tonality of Major and Minor, and the hand positions that you will learn will enable you to find the tonality of any key in which you are asked to play.

Well play some simple and fun Reggae grooves that you can easily expand upon to jam with your friends. We start out with a very recognizable bass line that just uses Major Arpeggios to outline a I-IV-V progression in the key of G. Notice how when your hand is anchored in the correct position (Middle finger on the Root) your fingers will fall right into place to play the Arpeggio and create the bass line. We then switch to D and A Minor, change our hand position and play the Arpeggios backwards to create another standard reggae bass line.
