Fei wanders through the forest after his exile from Lahan. Along the way he is ambushed by Elhaym (Elly) who points a gun at him and starts rambling in her native tongue forgetting that he's a "lamb".

Xenogears - Trama Completa "Perché è dovuta finire così?" - Xenogears è un titolo Squaresoft rilasciato nel febbraio 1998 (tra FFVII e VIII) e mai approdato sul territorio europeo. Eppure riscosse quasi immediatamente un largo successo dove fu commercializzato, grazie al sistema di gioco innovativo, la trama solida e di non facile comprensione - costruita da una marea di citazioni, nonché elementi delle teorie di Freud, Nietzsche e concetti religiosi - e la superba caratterizzazione dei personaggi. Nacque come il quinto episodio di una saga di sei che non fu mai portata a termine; la realizzazione di Xenogears fu vessata da problemi di produzione sfociati probabilmente nei numerosi tagli che ridussero e sconvolsero la giocabilità del secondo disco. In seguito, il team che lavorò al titolo approdò dalla Square alla Namco dove produsse gli episodi di Xenosaga, i prequel "spirituali" di Gears, riscuotendo successo decrescente.
