The edited music video, part of Within Temptation 's "Faster & Mother Maiden Short Film". This is the first of three short films, to be released this year. Follow the adventures of Puddlenaut as he defeats legions of bad guys and faces down the final boss. He has a shark instead of an arm, and carries a deadly harpoon. The designs on the shirts are not photoshopped. They are real shirts for each frame of animation. The video was exported at 30fps, while the T-shirt animation moves at 6fps (with a few exceptions where it moves faster) So, for each shirt, we took 5 pictures, so the animation of us (Rhett&Link) moves at 30fps, but the T-shirt animations move a bit slower. There are a few places where the motion seems so smooth that it looks like video. Equipment used: - Computer: MacBook Pro laptop with Windows installed - Monitor - 24" Asus: We had to replace the standard fluorescent backlight with very large tungsten fixtures to funnel in more light to capture the screen. In addition, we flipped the monitor 180 degrees to eliminate a shadow from the driver board and set the system preferences on the computer to rotate 180 degrees. No special software was used in this process. - Camera: Phantom v640 High Speed Camera at 1920 x 1080, films up to 2700 fps "Why does allrecipes.com in the potato gun sequence appear at once, and not the text first and images second? And why does it appear to render from bottom of the screen to the top?" Chrome sends the rendered page to the video card buffer all at once, which is why allrecipes.com appears at once, and not with the text first and images second. Alright, a lot more work went into this than you would think, but I guess it's a good thing that you can't tell just how difficult it was to create. I feel I've done about as good of a job as I could to edit it together in such a way that the audio approximately matches the video. The studio recording of Free Bird (extended ending of course) has here been overlaid atop a heavily edited version of Lynyrd Skynyrd's 1974 Hamburg (Germany) show. Please understand this WAS NOT EASY. The video here bares little resemblance to the original footage I used (it is presented in a MUCH different order). Obviously it is impossible to get everything to line up perfectly. Throughout the verse I focused on getting Ronnie's lips, Gary's slide, and Allen's chords in sync. Throughout the solo I focused only on Allen's playing, Gary's chords, and Bob's drums. If you have not seen the original recording of the 1974 Hamburg show, I urge that you PLEASE go watch it BEFORE watching this one, so you can appreciate how much editing this required! "Real Love" is a song written by British rock musician John Lennon. Lennon made six takes of the song in 1979 and 1980 with "Real Life", a different song that merged with "Real Love". The song was ignored until 1988 when the sixth take was used on the documentary soundtrack Imagine: John Lennon. "Real Love" was subsequently reworked by the three remaining members of The Beatles (Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr) in late 1995, an approach also used for another incomplete Lennon track, "Free as a Bird". "Real Love" was released as a Beatles single in 1996 in the United Kingdom, United States and many other countries; it was the opening track on the Beatles' Anthology 2 album. It is the last "new" credited Beatles song to originate and be included on an album. To date, it is the last single by the group to become a Top 40 hit in the US The song reached number four and number 11 in the UK and US singles charts, respectively, and earned a gold record faster than a number of the group's other singles.
