Between the Greek mainland and Peloponnesus peninsula are the extensive ruins of ancient Corinth. Of the city's former magnificence, only a few Doric columns of the 6th century Temple of Apollo have survived. Due to its favorable location and fertile soil, 3000 years ago during the Neolithic period, the first settlements were established in this region. 146 BC marked the end of Classical Corinth. The Romans devastated and plundered the ancient metropolis and enslaved its people and for almost a hundred years, the ruins were uninhabited but, due to Caesar, new life returned to the city. Surrounded by the pure, wild beauty of nature, the ruins blend harmoniously into the magnificence of the surrounding landscape. From a medieval fortress, in the distance there are the remains of an ancient Corinthian port and even today, shipping plays an important role in the everyday life of this ancient city.

Palma de Mallorca's Bay, a 24 hour Timelapse
I love Timelapse Photography. I especially enjoy looking for the patterns that show up when time appears to be moving faster than usual. I first felt in love with it when I watched the films "Baraka" and "Koyaanisqatsi: Life out of Balance", where it is used heavily to show everyday life from a different perspective. For some time I wanted to create a Timelapse of Palma de Mallorca's Bay, in Spain. There's magic in this Bay and after 24 hours and 4320 photographs, (and a little help from the weather gods!) here's what came out. Filmed with a Canon DSLR 7D, and a 17-40mm lens. One photo taken every 20 seconds remotely with a intervalometer. Put together in Quicktime Pro, and final edit in Final Cut Pro. Music is Hymn by Moby. Ze gaat hertrouwen, maar ziet er op het laatste moment van af. Roelien is erg begaan met het milieu. Ze protesteert tegen het omhakken van een grote oude boom. Bij vrijwilligerswerk slaat ze een bejaarde vrouw, en laat haar alleen achter op de hei. Anouk krijgt schilderijen van een schilder die op haar valt. Ze houdt hem af, maar haar dochter Vlinder noemt haar toch een slet. Anouk geeft Vlinder een klap, waarna Vlinder besluit bij haar vader te gaan wonen. Anouk claimt dat de schilderijen door haar geschilderd zijn, waardoor ze ten onrechte geprezen wordt. De fraude komt uit. De vrouwen gaan in Parijs een cursus volgen, gericht op hun innerlijk. Ze stoppen ermee als blijkt dat bij een onderdeel de deelnemers zich uit moeten kleden. Ze gaan winkelen, samen met hun homoseksuele vriend Yari. Vervolgens gaan ze snel terug naar Nederland als blijkt dat Vlinder voor het eerst ongesteld is. Ook willen Cheryl en Martin het dringend goedmaken, onder andere omdat Martin optreedt met een liedje over hun liefde en nu hypocriet gevonden wordt.
