Some additional notes on Flacco: - In his two years at Delaware, Flacco never had a senior wide receiver to throw to. Delaware's starting receivers in 2006 will most likely be Delaware's starting receivers in 2008. - Flacco's starting receivers are listed at 5'9" 160, 5'11" 195 and 5'10" 175. - Four Delaware games in 2007 were not televised. One of those games was a five-overtime thriller vs. Richmond in which Flacco dove into the end zone as time expired in the fourth quarter to tie the game. Flacco was 26 of 38 for 375 yards against Richmond. He threw three touchdowns in the game, including an 84-yarder, his longest completion of the season. Delaware's 42-7 win over Monmouth also went untelevised. Flacco, who played just one series into the second half, was 15 of 19 for 215 yards and two touchdowns. His rating in the game of 208.74 was the highest of his career. - Delaware made its postseason run without its starting left tackle and left guard. - Flacco was sacked 48 times in two years, took a number of other hits, but never missed a snap due to injury.
