In this video, I find myself in the village of Flotsam, working on a quest called The Kayran... The Kayran is a huge river beast that's terrorizing boat traffic around thy village. I get one of the merchants to give me more money to slay the beast. I learned earlier from a quest that the Kayran's mucous is poison. When taking samples of the mucous from a shipwreck, we discovered that the mucous was also magical. To unlock that magic, I need to visit some Elven ruins to find the herb Ostmurk. I exit the village. Shortly beyond the village walls, I am attacked by Endrega Guards (large insects). After I get past those, I am assaulted by waves of Nekkers (goblin-like creatures)... Mr Flotsam and Mr Jetsam, namely BC Hilliam and Malcolm McEachern became a popular double act in British Variety and Radio from 1926 when they made their debut at the Victoria Palace, London until McEachern's death in 1945. Between top-of-the-bill variety tours they recorded for Columbia and made regular broadcasts from Savoy Hill for the BBC. They appeared in the Royal Variety Performance on 24 February 1927. Hilliam had begun his career before and during WW1 at one point forming a double act with Hugh Aitchison Green, father of Hughie Green of "Opportunity Knocks" fame. Hilliam continued his career after the War in USA on the Vaudeville circuit and Ziegfeld's New Amsterdam Roof, returning to England in 1926. Malcolm McEachern was an Australian Concert singer, at one point touring with Nellie Melba. He had established a fine concert reputation in London at the time of his meeting with Hilliam and the creation of their famous double act.
