A Japanese TV crew (YBC) followed me around and filmed me one day in 2004 at the school I worked at (Aterazawa High School) and at my apartment for their daily news broadcast; the people of Yamagata (northern Japan; about 3 hours north of Tokyo on the Bullet Train) were constantly amazed at the "Gaijin" (foreigner) speaking "Yamagata-ben" (Yamagata Dialect).

Sorry for the choppy video. I had 17 minutes of video that I had to cut into 10. I didn't touch on everything as well as I would have liked, and so on. I didn't touch on many discrimination topics as I couldn't fit them in. I also didn't talk much about other foreigners such as Korean's because I also couldn't fit it in. Thanks to BobbyJudo for starting such a constructive and insightful discussion. It was great to watch the videos of other foreigner youtubers living in Japan, as well as Hiroko's videos for a Japanese perspective. I'll continue further discussion in the comments.
