Die weiße Frau Wenn man auf der Bundesstrasse langfährt, trifft man auf ca. halben Wege auf eine kleine Kapelle am Straßenrand. Vor zig Jahren soll auf dieser Strecke eine Frau bei einem Autounfall getötet worden sein. Der Unfallverursacher ist damals geflüchtet und wurde nie gefunden. Seid diesen Tage soll eine weiße Geisterfrau auf dieser Strecke erscheinen. Wenn man an der besagten Kapelle vorbei fährt, und man licht brennen sieht, sollte man sich hüten. Denn dann ist die weiße Frau unterwegs. Ich kenn die geschichten nur vom hören-sagen, aber dieser Geist wurde schon von vielen Augenzeugen gesichtet. Laut ihrer Aussage wartet die Frau am Straßenrand. Wenn man sie sieht soll man anhalten und sie ein kleines Stück mitnehmen. Es heißt, das die Frau bis heute den unfallverursacher sucht, und ihn mit dieser methode finden will. Wird der Geist von jemanden mitgenommen und er findet nichts so verschwindet er einfach. Ich habe auch schon oft gehört, das der Geist Autofahrern ins Steuer greift falls diese nicht anhalten. Doch das halte ich eher für einen Mythos, obwohl ungewöhnlich viele Unfälle dort statt fanden. (früher jedenfalls) Der Myhtos der frau ist bis heute nicht geklärt.

Die Start und Landebahn soll ua für das neue Forschungsflugzeug Airbus A320 des Deutschen Zentrums für Luft- und Raumfahrt verlängert werden. Die Volkswagen AG unterstützt das Vorhaben. AnwohnerInnen und Bürgerinitiativen bestreiten die Notwendigkeit einer Startbahnverlängerung für die Forschung.und wenden sich gegen einen Ausbau für Mangerflüge des Volkswagenkonzerns. Nachdem die Gerichte den Weg für den Ausbau des Flughafens freigemacht hatten wird seit Anfang Januar 2010 mit der Rodung von insgesamt 60.000 Bäumen begonnen.
