This is a vid of Die Hard: Vendetta on the Gamecube. This was a cheap $3 buy for me, and overall, it's lacking, but not terrible. In fact, it sometimes reminds me of games like Goldeneye, or TWINE on the N64. It even has the auto aim like those games. Granted, those games were on a system with only one analog stick, so they had to find ways cope with that. Likewise, the GC's C-stick is not the best for FPS games. However, they could have made it work a lot better instead of taking the lazy way out. Controls aside, the game isn't as horrible as the reviews say it is. If you take is as a simple FPS, then you may even enjoy it a little. However, if you're a Halo or MW snob, you'll no doubt turn your nose up to this game seeing as it's just a simple FPS with a mission setup similar to console FPS games of the past, and nothing more. It didn't break any new ground, and really failed to capture the essence of the Die Hard Franchise. Overall, not the greatest FPS game ever made, but not the worse. I'd never pay full price for the game (and I assume those who did were either die hard Die Hard fans, or People who only owned a Gamecube), but for the $3 I paid for it, it's not a bad buy. It won't blow you away, but those who aren't snobs with their games will find some entertainment value out of this game. This game is also available on the PS2, and the Xbox.
