German Tanks on the Streets of America!!!

Driving the Panzer III through the streets of Grand Junction, Colorado to the carshow downtown. The city was nice enough to give us a permit, we just had to run with lights and 'slow moving vehicle' triangle. Everyone smiled and waved, you gotta love Western Colorado! The PZR III is 15 tons and 9'6" wide and has rubber track pads. It didn't leave a single mark on the pavement.

First off! 300 subs O_O Never thought that would happen, but I guess I didn't think 200 subs was happening :P But thank you so much for subscribing! It only makes me want to work even harder, bringing you new videos! Been working hard all week on this video, but it's finally here! Taking the pictures, adding the effects to each and every tank. Adding the effects took forever, but I'll keep doing until I have the other nations covered! Also the music added was made by my very good friend Nicklas Sonne. Hope you like it, if not you're free to mute it ;)

Outrage as Germany 'sells' 200 tanks to Saudi regime

Germany is reportedly selling two hundred battle tanks to Saudi Arabia. Talk of a deal has caused outrage among Germany's opposition politicians, who claim the government would be breaking its own export rules. Peace activist Jens Wagner says he fears the heavy weapons could be used to crush anti-regime protests in the region.

Tankfest 2011 - WWII Allied & German Tanks

Visit The War Years www.thewaryears.co.uk Here's some video of this year's Tankfest 2011. In this video you'll find a collection of World War Two (WWII) armour including American Sherman, British Churchill and German Panzer III and Panzer IV in the arena. You will also find video and photographs of the Tank Museum's Panzer V - Panther and Panzer VI - Tiger. Although not running this year due to mechanical maintenance, Tiger 131 that you'll see in this video is the world's only operational Tiger I. I've also put in some photos of the Tiger II which is on static display. The Soviet tanks on show are the famous T-34 and the big old KV-1. Some of the sound quality of the tanks driving around the arena isn't great so apologies for those of you who love to listen to the engines roar. Anyway, hope you enjoy.

The Panzer 1 - German tanks of WW2

Dialogue: Panzer 1 (Panzerkampfwagen 1) Developed during the 1930's under the name "Landwirtschaftlicher" ("agricultural tractor") on paper to hide it's true purpose from the Treaty of Versailles which prohibited the manufacturing of tanks Originally built with the purpose of being a training vehicle only Crew: 2 men: 1 driver & 1 commander/gunner only equipped with 2 MG13 machine guns, it had thin armor and was obsolete compared to enemy tanks, however made a formidable infantry support Production of the Panzer 1, Ausf A began in 1934 In 1935 the Panzer 1, Ausf B came about when the tank was given a better engine that didn't overheat like the Ausf A, and better suspension In the Spanish civil war, the Panzer 1 saw it's debut where a small number of Panzer 1's were experimentally armed with the Italian 20mm Flak gun. It was recorded that the panzer 1's twin MG13 guns were useless against anything accept infantry targets and proved completely useless in combat. Because of it's limited usefulness, the panzer 1 was quickly developed into a fast reconnaissance and light infantry tank, thus the Panzer 1 Ausf C & F Ausf C was a fast, light reconnaissance tank Ausf F (sometimes dubbed "little tiger") was a heavily armored assault tank Variants: Variants that were created off the chassis of the Panzer 1 were from the Ausf A & B models only. All variants made during 1939-1940 100 Panzer 1's were converted into a variant tank called the "Ladungsleger 1" which had an extendable arm ...

Soviet attacks were poorly coordinated and lacked any real deep penetrating threat. Effective radio communications between tanks was non-existent. --SUBSCRIBE TO EXCELLENT World War II VIDEOS---- --UPLOADED Weekly--- Videos Running Time 00:54:00 in 6 Parts TANKS!: The battle of Kursk The Battle of Kursk was a horrific armor battle between Nazi Germany and the USSR. Many view the Battle of Kursk as the turning point on the Eastern Front. After Kursk the German Army in the East was a defense force against massive Soviet offensives. Operational delays set back the German timetable several times. By the time the German offensive was to commence, almost every German commander opposed the attack. Even Hitler explained to Col.Gen.Guderian: the mere thought of this battle makes my stomach turn. Several new German tanks were to take part in the offensive. The PzKw VI Tiger, was a battle tested design. The PzKw V Panther was Germanys answer to the T-34/76. The Panther was brilliantly designed. Well slopped and thick armor could blunt the T-34s 76mm gun at distance. The Panthers 75mm cannon shell possessed a higher muzzle velocity than the Tigers 88mm L-56 cannon. The Panther could reach an astonishing 30-35 mph on paved roads. However, the Panther was rushed into service without proper testing. The introduction of the Panther at Kursk proved to be a failure. By 1944 the Panther was the best medium tank, if not the best tank of World War II. The Elephant was an assault gun, with a turret less 88mm cannon. Its armor was impervious to any anti-tank gun at Kursk. The Elephants weakness lay its inability to defend itself against ...

--SUBSCRIBE TO EXCELLENT World War II VIDEOS---- --UPLOADED Weekly--- Videos Running Time 00:54:00 in 6 Parts This episode of TANKS! examines British and German tanks in North Africa. Great Britain was at the forefront of amour development during World War I. However, Britains lead in tank design and tactics fell woefully short in the 1930s and during World War II. British tanks were so poor; it affected the moral of the troops. The Matilda was too slow and used an ineffective 2 pounder (40mm) main gun. The Crusader looked excellent on paper but turned out to be a complete disaster. Britain finally turned to America for reliable tanks. The Sherman, although inferior to most German tanks, was extremely reliable. The British Sherman Firefly was fitted with the excellent 17 pounder (77mm) anti-tank gun during the western France campaign. Britain learned great lessons from armor development during World War II. Britain was determined to; never again fall so far behind all the major warring nations with amour. British development of tank cannons and laminated amour stem from their World War II experience. The Chieftain and Challenger are a direct result of this mentality. The Germans were the masters of the battlefield during the early years of World War II. The Panzer II and III werent monsters, but where handled with great care. Most British tanks could hold their own against the Panzer III. However, the use of excellent tank tactics and skillful deplyment of anti-tank ...
