Gilbert Arenas - Ghost Dog : The Way of the Samuraï
Besides this contest (NBAEvolution MixMaking Contest 2007 : making a mix inspired from a movie, here "Ghost Dog"), I made this mix with a precise motivation: to innovate. I'm a bit tired of highlights mixed with OST or flashy hip hop music, and full of effects (so well-trained are they). I wanted to operate differently here in order to try to advance the mixmaking towards a movie's atmosphere way. This mix is not spectacular or technically amazing. It does not target the general public. However, I concentrated on the atmosphere, tried to create both a special and a one of kind and special atmosphere in this video... That will not please the largest number of you it is certain, but I hope that at least each will notice this effort. Arenas is an atypical player, a different guy for a different mix. Ghost Dog is a movie I appreciate a lot, I thus borrowed its atmosphere, its texts (that I placed in the mix, its footages, all this to create a parallel scenario), its soundtrack (all the OST, thank you Mr RZA). If you've seen this beautiful film, the mix would turn into a bonus feature to enjoy... This video is a real bet. Please, before forging you any opinion, take time to watch it several times. My MO is to embarrass on the one hand, but on the other hand it is making the spectator appreciates more and more in every viewing, as an intimate CD which reveals itself excellent if we interfere inside. Winning price or not, I sincerely hope to release something new, something <b>...</b>

I took 3 photos last night. One after another from the same spot. When I downloaded them, I noticed something in the first shot which is not in the second and third, some 30 seconds apart. I have to say that the hair stood up on the back of my neck as I looked at it. The photos were taken in the grounds of a famous old house in Belgrave. It used to belong to a famous doctor who helped to establish the local hospital, back in the day. This house was also his medical rooms and he would see patients there. I went there when we first moved up to the hills, a very long time ago. He was very old then. When he died the house was turned into a restaurant and has been through several hands since then. It is an amazing building, but I will let you decide if what I captured is a 'spirit orb'. This is not a hoax and is not a joke, it is exactly the way I saw it on my computer. spider. PS I have been back to the site of this photo several times since I posted this video. The cafe is called "Earthly Pleasures" and is an excellent place to eat or have a coffee. The cafe is actually the 'great hall' from the original house. Sunsets are spectacular when viewed from the patio area. This place is really worth a visit if you are in Belgrave from Thursday to Sunday. It's just opposite the 'Cameo' cinemas. To view a Hi Res version........ www.me.com TWO YEARS LATER. Planescape : Torment in 1680x1050 with Ghostdog's UI mod
This is a short video showing Planescape Torment played in 1680x1050 using Ghostdog's UI mod. This mod is used in conjunction with the widescreen mod to make all resolutions viable for the game. The Widescreen mod works well in Planescape: Torment, but unfortunately when you change the resolution, almost all of the UI elements and game effects are shown in the top-left area since they were set for the original 640x480 game resolution. What this mod does is center all of these elements and enhance the UI with original game art to fit nicely with any resolution.
