Anyone who likes the Marty Robbins sound can't fail to like the Glaser Brothers as they had such close links. Marty brought them to Nashville in the late 50's and they not only appeared on his shows , but also wrote some of Marty's songs like 'Like All The Other Times', 'Running Gun' And 'Five Brothers.' After the parting of the ways they went on to become one of the most popular Country groups ever, not only having a whole lot of hits, but writing some great songs such as 'Stand Beside Me', 'Streets Of Baltimore', 'Sittin' in An Allnite Cafe'and 'Woman, Woman.'

I believe this is a Jack Clement song which appeared on the trio's first MGM album. It wasn't released in the UK, but I learned about it from Billboard which I used to buy from a paper stall in Charing X Road in the West End of London. I paid to have the album imported as I had heard them on the Opry which was beamed in via the American Forces Network in Germany. Knowing of their connection with Marty Robbins made me like them even more. I still have the album and this is one of my favourite tracks on it.
