Overview of new google youtube layouts and modules

This video just highlights some of the positive features of the new google templates for youtube. I must admit the only unwelcome change is the banner being omitted from the new channel design. As you are fully aware by now google has removed friends from the modules, but you can still get them through the contacts part of your inbox. Also you can have suggestions there of people who want to be your contact. This is to make a stark distinction between friends and contacts. Contacts to google are people who you are an acquaintance with who may or may not have similar interests. Just like a business contact. It doesn't mean they are going to be life long buddies LOL. Friends are people who you may even meet in real life. There are big distinctions and false harassment claims were being sent to google about people adding them as a friend without their permission. Well now thanks to those plebs we are stuck with this new system. You can now share your video and specify the length for example the start time of the video url with the viewer. You can do the usual send to face book etc but it is far more compact and easier on the eye. Video Manager now has a new look if you opt in and you can see easily with the dollar signs what videos have adverts. Channel design is not so good and does not appear to allow partners their banner which is the only reason I would not bother with it.

Google Nexus S Unboxing

Google Nexus S Unboxing Review by Aaron Aaron unboxes the Google Nexus S, the successor to the Nexus One. It's made by Samsung, and offers a 1 GHz Hummingbird processor, gorgeous 4-inch curved Super AMOLED display, 5-megapixel camera with flash, and a front-facing camera for video calling. Best of all, it's sporting Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), the latest version of the popular mobile operating system. Android 2.3 offers a few minor improvements over Android 2.2 (Froyo); a new transition effects, some minor color changes, and a revamped keyboard, among other things. Like the Galaxy S line, the Nexus S' housing is plastic. The Nexus S will be available at Best Buy on December 16th for $199.99 with a two-year agreement, and $529.99 full retail. Google Nexus S Review Part 1

Google Nexus S Review Part 1 by Aaron Google Nexus S Review www.phonedog.com Aaron reviews the Google Nexus S, the latest "Google Experience" device and the successor to the HTC Nexus One. It offers a 1 GHz processor, 4-inch Super AMOLED display, 5-megapixel camera, and is the first device to launch with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Besides the software, the specifications aren't as revolutionary this time around. 1 GHz processors are common on high-end Android devices, and 5-megapixel cameras are a dime a dozen. The small advantage (for now) comes in the improved performance of Android 2.3. Surprisingly, it's not an HSPA+ device. Given T-Mobile's 4G marketing campaign, one would think that Google and Samsung would want to take advantage of it. Still, the HSPA connectivity has been good thus far, with download speeds in the 2-3.5 Mbps range. Aaron puts it through its paces in part 1 of a two-part review.
