He accused the states of "playing with fire", as Greece scrambled to finalise an austerity plan demanded by the EU and IMF in return for a huge bailout. Mr Venizelos promised to clarify the plan before a conference call with eurozone bosses due at 16:00 GMT. Greece needs to convince lenders that it will make enough savings, and that its politicians will enact the changes. Athens is hoping to get a 130bn-euro (£110bn; $170bn) bailout from the EU and IMF. The deal also includes a provision to write off a further 100bn euros of debt owed to banks. Parliament approved a package of austerity measures on Sunday, but eurozone ministers indicated that more detail needed to be given on the cuts. June 5 2011 (Day XII of Greek Democracy), 21:40 Thousands of demonstrators chant slogans in front of the Greek parliament, many of them waving the Greek flag. Among the slogans heard in this clip: - "Take off your suits, put your garterbelts on, in order to become the new chambermaids of the Troika" This is a slogan addressed at the MPs of all parties, who are seen as political prostitutes who have sold out Greece to international loan sharks. The chambermaid is of course a reference to the Strauss-Kahn scandal. The troika is the EU commission, the ECB and the IMF - "Giorgakis, Giorgakis, change your career. In New York they are looking for a whore chambermaid." Giorgakis, the diminutive of George, is used to refer to George Papandreou, the prime minister, who is widely regarded as a puppet and a spineless idiot. He is notorious, among other things, for breaking 3 fingers and a couple of vertebrae (proving that he is not really spineless) on trying to ride a bicycle in front of TV crews (he has since been spending around 1500 Euro/month in a gym, studying - among other things - cycling under the tutelage of a Greek cyclism champion). He is also known for claiming, in a pre-election speech, "There is no lack of money. Hundreds of millions, billions, were given to the banks in a single day". A month later, upon becoming prime-minister, he claimed to have found out that there is indeed lack of money, and thus set into motion the chain of events that led to his signing the <b>...</b>

Around 0:30, the demonstrator with the bullhorn says: "brothers, we will once again chant our national anthem, but this time, we will ask our brothers the policemen, who have taken an oath like us (a reference to the oath soldiers take when they start their military service) to chant along with us." People applaud, then chant the national anthem. A little after that, people chanted the slogan (not shown in the video) "If you have a homeland, if you have honour, turn around your shields and go into the parliament"
