A catch up on what ive been doing on my model a pickup. Got the door jams finished and the jam wood reinstalled. Now moving to the grille, radiator, hood, hood latch, hood sides, and then on to the motor. The radiator spash apron will be butt welded back together I miss spoke when I said it would be welded on the back side. Thanks for watching !!! Terry

Taken over two days, drivers had to complete a 2.5 mile course as fast as possible to get a good starting position for the main race. Walk around of my 1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air 327, 6-speed. Motor is a 1961 327 with Dart iron angle plug heads. Airgap intake with a 650 Holley, Competition Hydraulic Cam. Motor was built by Performance Engineering in Grand Rapids MI. Motor dynoed at 420 horsepower. Patriot ceramic coated headers. Griffin radiator. MSD. Richmond six speed with Lakewood bell and centerforce clutch. 9" Ford rear end with with new Eaton Tru Track posi unit. Moser axles. 4.56 gears. ME AND MY GIRLFRIEND FINISHED THE TERRA BUGGY LAST NIGHT & I DECIDED TO DO A QUICK RUN OF IT TO SEE HOW IT HANDLES. LOVE THE FACT YOU CAN PUT A MASSIVE 550 MOTOR IN IT FOR MORE POWER, HANDLES GREAT ON LOOSE GRAVEL AS WELL AS VERY SOFT ALMOST FLUFFY DIRT ROADS. THE SHOCK OIL IS 30 WEIGHT & FOR ME & MY AREA THE SHOCKS PERFORM VERY WELL. NOT SO FUSSED ON HOW YOU CHECK THE ELECTRICS, AS YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE ENTIRE BODY JUST TO DO SO. THE TIRES LOOK THE PART WITH THE MIXED ON & OFF ROAD TREAD TO GIVE YOU THE TRACTION ON THE ROAD & THE STICKY STILL SLIGHLTY SLIPPERY GRIP OFF ROAD.ME & MY GIRLFRIEND HAD HEAPS A FUN BUILDING IT.
