26th October 2010 Saas Bahu Aur Saazish SBS Star News Geet Ke Do Chand:Gurmeet Choudhary-Drashti Dhami-Abhinav Shukla GurTi AbhiShti Karva Chauth KC Segment EHQ. Gurmeet, Abhinav and Dhrasti are in their room. Gurmeet and Abhinav are having food. Dhrasti says they are eating but she is not as she has kept a fast but she don't know for whom should she keep fast as she has two husband. Then she corrects and says one husband and one fiance. She looks at Abinav who is giving her a look after which all three burst into laughter. Dhrasti says who gives her more big gift she would keep fast for him. Gurmeet and Abhinav are laughing. Dhrasti then cuts two thermacol in round shape sticks Maan's picture in one and Abhinav's in other. The two men hold it. Dhrasti calls Maan kharoos chand and Dev sweet chand. Later we see their heads within the thermacol from which Dhrasti has cutted two peices in round. She does their pooja and they feed her. Abhnav hugs Dhrasti. The segment ended with Gurmeet saying something about kids and husband hearing which all the three burst into laughter. They play the song Dekho Chand Aaya during this segment.

Gurmeet Choudhary born on 22 February 1984 is an Indian actor most noted for his role in the 2008 Ramayan as Lord Rama and his current role in one of the most successful and popular shows on STAR One "Geet- Hui Sabse Parayi", Geet (TV series) as the dynamic business tycoon, Maan Singh Khurana. Gurmeet Choudhary was born in Chandigarh to Sitaram Choudhary, who worked with Indian Army. At school, he was involved in conceptualizing and acting in plays. While his brother chose to enter the medical profession, Gurmeet decided to become an actor. In 2006, Gurmeet debuted as the lead negative character in Indian television's first 3D TV series, Mayavi, a Tamil language production for Jaya TV which was later dubbed for the Telugu and Malayalam television audiences as well which won him a popular fan base in South India. Choudhary's next appearance on television was as Lord Ram, for the religious series Ramayan for NDTV and this created a broader fan base for him across India. Gurmeet and Drashti - How it all began *PLEASE read the desc*
(Headphones on is mandatory) This VM is a short version of my blog (sanah05.wordpress.com where I've written the "GC - DD" story. The dialogues and captions relate. So when it starts..It starts with Drashti reading the letter addressed to her, written by GC. So this is how it goes.. Gurmeet leaves GHSP, he however writes a letter to Drashti..conveying his true feelings...reminding her of everything they did..as GEET and MAAN and as GURTI. He tells her how he had felt a spark right from the "Behne de" shoot. He reminds her of how things used to be between them.. how the lines between real and reel were blurring. He always wanted to tell her, but was hesitant because of "obstacles". After reading the letter DD (this relates exactly to the blog) runs to find GC and sees his leaving in his car. She tries to get him to stop..but ends up coming in front of the car. GC brakes on time and takes her to this small hut, she is hurt.. He tries to leave to get meds for her, she stops him and says she wants to take their relationship forward.. and then GC and DD... become GURTI.

Please leave comments if you like it. About algoza: This musical instrument called Algoza comprises of two flutes with only 5 tones of the musical octave. It is popular in deep rural Punjab, India and Punjab, Pakistan. It is played by farmers during crop harvesting season. It can also be heard from great distances on farms along with barks of stray village dogs during dusk. It is decorated with colorful strings and is played while wearing typical punjabi farmer colorful attire. This instrument is getting out of fashion, hard to buy even in punjab,India, even harder to find a coach to get training. Though some UK based bands have used it in their albums in recent years. I was obsessed with it since my childhood, 15 years ago had a chance to find a teacher. My coach- Tara Chand, was a frustrated man living a hard life unable to make a living out of playing the instrument. He taught me the technique of circular breathing vital to supply continuous stream of air to two flutes. The beauty of the instrument is resonance and beats created by flutes emitting sound at different pitches. I am proud I am able to preserve the legacy. The song I was playing-Jugni is very touching. It is about an innocent village girl, who is wowed and confused when she happens to visit a city. She sees other girls wearing western dresses, shunning traditional values, sees tall sky scapers, she is confused between the values she has teen taught and values she sees people practising in cities.
