Henri Cartier-Bresson L'amour tout court Part1

Henri Cartier-Bresson "L'amour tout court" ("Just Plain Love" 2001) Henri Cartier-Bresson (1908-2004) was a French photographer considered to be the father of modern photojournalism, an early adopter of 35 mm format, and the master of candid photography. He helped develop the "street photography" style that has influenced generations of photographers that followed. Trained as a painter, he began his career in photography in 1931 on a trip to the Ivory Coast. He was one of the first photographers to shoot in the 35mm format with a Leica camera, and helped to develop the photojournalistic "street photography" style that influenced generations of photographers to come. It was there on the Côte d'Ivoire that he contracted blackwater fever, which nearly killed him. Returning to France, Cartier-Bresson recuperated in Marseille in 1931 and deepened his relationship with the Surrealists. He became inspired by a photograph by Hungarian photojournalist Martin Munkacsi artneutre.bitacoras.com Cartier-Bresson said: "The only thing which completely was an amazement to me and brought me to photography was the work of Munkacsi. When I saw the photograph of Munkacsi of the black kids running in a wave I couldn't believe such a thing could be caught with the camera. I said damn it, I took my camera and went out into the street." The photograph inspired him to stop painting and to take up photography seriously. He explained, "I suddenly understood that a photograph could fix eternity in an ...

Henri Mulet's Carillon-Sortie at St Ouen

Carillon-Sortie by Henri Mulet (1878-1967) recorded in St Ouen, Rouen by Andreas Meisner. Mulet studied at the Paris Conservatoire with Widor and Guilmant. He wrote relatively few works, his most popular being the toccata 'Tu us Petrus' from the Esquisses Byzantines. The organ needs no introduction, except to say its Cavaillé-Coll's masterpiece IMHO. The organist, Andreas Mesiner is one of two titulaires at Altenburg Dom. His playing is clear and always thrilling. I will put up a few pieces from his recordings at Altenburg in weeks to come. I found this particular track on his website www.andreas-meisner.de. This track is from a CD no 16306 from www.mitra-classics.de, if you find it difficult to order from them, try www.jpc.de, they can get hold of it.

c'est la vie Henri Dikongué

I love this song and love henri dikongué's songs. Here are the lyrics of "c'est la vie" in English : a birth, a shouting, a pain, a noise, a very soft heart, friend, a heart which beats, the life, I would like to stop on this happiness which is given to me, this force flows of its fragility, does not end up surprising me, sweep, sweep, sweep let my distress where it is everything seems fine, everything seems light as if the world had changed. That is Life, life, life oh, life eh, it is very there, a divine friend, stares at us and smiles at us (2X) a caress, a joy, a smile, a voice, a trembling hand and me a soul that lives with you I want to say thank you for that moment which grew up on me it's as if I was ever born before this new child born sweep, sweep, sweep the wounds of my past everything seems fine, everything seems light as if the world was changed This is life, life, oh life, life eh It is the mystery of the magic, I feel Father, it pleased me this is life, life, life, oh life eh it is very there, a divine friend, gives me wings and desires this is life, life, life, oh life eh it is very there, a divine friend, stares at us and smiles at us (2X) This is life, life, oh life, life eh this presence that is also an existence of my life (2X). comment or rate, please, if you like the video For the French lyrics go here : www.greatsong.net I don't own anything in this video, just want to illustrate it with some pictures and to add parts of the real video of "c'est la ...
