For starters, it's the first time the U2 front man has appeared in an ad without his band, and the first time a label other than Vuitton is getting a fashion credit. Instead of Vuitton, the two wear Edun, the ethical clothing label they founded in 2005 to encourage trade with Africa, and in which LVMH took a 49 percent stake last year. What's more, Hewson totes a handbag co-designed by Edun and Vuitton that comes dangling with a special charm that is the French firm's first made-in-Africa product. (It's also sold separately.) The image of Bono and Hewson disembarking from a small airplane in an arid South African vista — with the tag line "Every journey began in Africa" — is slated to break in mid-September in a range of daily newspapers, October magazines and on louisvuittonjourneys.com. The collaboration also will dovetail with an event during Paris Fashion Week, when Vuitton and Edun will unveil Africa Rising, a temporary exhibition of contemporary African art along with a showcase for the campaign and Edun's spring collection. Bono and Hewson are expected to attend. Antoine Arnault, Vuitton's director of communications, said Edun's presence in a Vuitton campaign would give the small brand — and its mission to eradicate poverty through sustainable enterprise in Africa — international exposure. Australia's multicultural agenda has been under the spotlight. While migrants became an election issue, recent comments by European politicians about the failure of multiculturalism seemed to resonate with Australians. In this video, economist and Former Leader of the Opposition, Dr John Hewson, talks about Australia's vision of multiculturalism and whether we can create a government and policy structure that can succeed where others have failed. This video was recorded at The Australian National University on 17 March 2011. Dr John Hewson is an economic and financial expert with experience in academia, business, government, media and the financial system. He was a member of parliament for eight years, four of which were as Leader of the Liberal Party and Federal Coalition in Opposition for four years. Since leaving politics in early 1995, Dr Hewson has run his own private investment banking business and was, until December 2004, a Member of the Advisory Council of ABN AMRO, having previously been Chairman of the Bank. In addition he is Chairman of Osteoporosis Australia and Arthritis Research Taskforce. He is also a Director of a number of other companies. Dr Hewson also writes an opinion column for the Australian Financial Review and is a Panellist on the Sky News Agenda program. Castle hewson manor house tour
The construction of this manor house was started in 1620 and was finished in 1885. It was the main residence for the Hewson family until 1984. Each generation added a new room which you either had to go up or down to, the result being that there are many fights of stairs to navigate. William Hewson presently lives on the property in an adjacent house. Great film location, and quite a huge project to restore. Its located in Limerick Co. Ireland

Derek is puzzled when water drips through his drill hole. Hanif is pleased when Denise lets him kiss her. The Wiltons realise the water is coming from Reg's flat and fears he might be ill and have left the bath running. They rush to the flat and bang on the door. Reg and Maureen are stopped from making love and Maureen is caught up in the bed as the water gushes out of it. Reg is furious to discover Derek has drilled into the water bed. Doug has no rent for the Duckworths, telling them he's got a car deal on and they'll have the rent soon. Maureen feels humiliated and refuses to have anything to do with Reg anymore.
