Hobie Rudder Cams can cause many problems with the helming of your Hobie. Check the cams are not locked down or broken in any way. If the rudder is not locked down while you are sailing the rudder lifts up and creates weather helm, in other words, you find yourself fighting the steering of the boat. Hope this short clip helps you determine the problem with your steering.

Formula 18 - Wild Cat - Hobie Cat
Taken under the Norwegian championship in Formula 18 2010. The class has been growing enormously in Norway, from being 3, F18ins in 2008 to become 23 on the line in 2010. The class is still growing and counts over 30 in November 2010. Hobie Cat Norway and Monky Production made this small movie as a pilot project to learn how to film sailing and specially F18 sailing. Their intension is to create a team with knowledge on how to make kick ass sailing movies.
