This is a long running BBC medical series centering around doctors. The setup is that Antoine Malick is an openly gay doctor. He was revealed as gay earlier this year when he first came onto the show. Dan Hamilton, also a doctor is straight (?) with a girlfriend named Chrissie who is a nurse at the hospital. He and Malick have been constantly at odds over medical issues for a few weeks now with things growing more and more intense. You can imagine where this is headed. In Part 1 of this 2 part episode, Malick calls Dan out over his treatment of a patient.
