Hot Tuna - Come Back Baby - 1972

From an old VHS tape, here is Hot Tuna circa 1972 with Papa John Creech doing "Come Back Baby". I think this is from the ABC series "In Concert". I recorded the audio from TV at the time and they did Keep On Truckin', Been So Long, Water Song, Come Back Baby, Keep Your Lamps Trimmed & Burning. Perhaps someone has video of the complete show. This is the only song I have found in my collection so far. The band is pretty hot !!

Hot Tuna - Rock Me Baby - 1975

Tuna in the Rampage Years with Greg Douglas at SUNY New Paltz 1975, NY I believe. This is a really poor video but it is the only video I have ever seen of this era of Tuna, the "Rampage Years" and Jack and Jorma with the fancy hair. From this tape there is also Serpent of Dreams, Hesitation Blues & Walkin' Blues. Note: This video, while not good quality, is significantly better on the original capture from the VHS tape. For some reason it looks worse on YouTube??

HOT TUNA - I See The Light

The Phosphorescent Rat is the fourth album by the rock group Hot Tuna. It was released in early 1974. The Phosphorescent Rat was a transitional album for Hot Tuna. Their blues-rock playing was moving away from the softer, more acoustic sound of their first three albums, and towards a more hard rock sound. Singer and guitarist Jorma Kaukonen's original compositions, and the group's first use of strings and woodwinds, indicated Hot Tuna was searching for a new direction
Hot Tuna - Jefferson Airplane Wooden Ships

If you smile at me you know I will understand Cause that is something everybody everywhere does In the same language I can see by your coat my friend that you're from the other side There's just one thing I got to know Can you tell me please who won You must try some of my purple berries I been eating them for six or seven weeks now Haven't got sick once Probably keep us both alive Wooden ships on the water very free and easy Easy you know the way it's supposed to be Silver people on the shoreline leave us be Very free and easy Sail away where the mornin sun goes high Sail away where the wind blows sweet and young birds fly Take a sister then by her hand Lead her far from this barren land Horror grips us as we watch you die All we can do is echo your anguished cry and Stare as all you human feelings die We are leaving You don't need us Go and take a sister by her hand Lead her far from this foreign land Somewhere where we might laugh again We are leaving You don't need us Sailing ships on the water very free and easy Easy you know the way it's supposed to be Silver people on the shoreline leave us be Very free And gone
