Assassin's Creed: Beautiful Lies
Song is "Beautiful Lies" by B-Complex Who's the better Assassin?! Not too much to say about this one. I really loved the song and the Assassin's Creed games, so I made this! I'm a huge fan of the AC trailers, especially the UNKLE "Lonely Soul" and "Burn my Shadow Away" ones and wanted to do something similar in how they're basically just music videos. Plus, every fan made "trailer" or tribute to the series I can find is always just boring mash-ups of Ubisoft's official trailers and I was sick of seeing those. It's tough making your own though, with no developer tools to control cameras or set anything up. I don't know how many times I had to manually align camera angles back and forth between the two games or have the tools I was using to slow the game down cause Altair or Ezio to just flip out and ragdoll into oblivion. Even so, I just played the game a whole lot and everything is shot, recorded, and edited myself. I hope you enjoy. I might actually put together a bloopers video later of all the crazy mess ups that happened while I was frapsing. Some of them had me loling hard or just outright disgusted. Update: I want to give a huge thanks to Ubisoft and Hospital Records for the recognition, the tweets, the spotlight on the AC facebook, etc. I'm humbled by all of it and very excited that the creators of both this excellent music and game have even seen, let alone liked my video. It seems that I have started a tradition that I go back to the cemetery around her birthday to sit there and reflect on the past year. This year I stopped by on her birthday which was Dec 23rd, this would have been her 64th. It never gets easier, as much as you think you are ok you are really not. I don't think I would ever want to get to a point where the emotions to come rushing back. You don't want to forget and loosing the emotions I think would mean you have stop carrying or forgot. It is amazing the times that the emotions hit you and get you thinking about the person you lost. Sometimes its a smell other times its a song or a place that triggers those memories to come flooding back in. I have always hid a lot of my emotions from other people when it comes to dealing with hurt and loss and kept it inside or let it out only for myself. These videos that I have done over the past two years help me express the emotion and get those feelings out. It is ok to cry it is ok to show emotion and not worry what anyone will think. Because if people think it is bad to show emotion or cry than they just have some major issues. I have grown so much over the past year personally, emotionally and in business. Hey beautiful ones! I was suddenly inspired to make a video on plastic surgery. I understand that this topic is touchy but for some reason- many people are curious upon this subject. In this superficial world today, it's hard not to feel insecure especially when the media pressurizes us to look good. Sometimes, we take the phrase "Nobody is perfect" for granted because it's said so many times. Why do we judge other people based on our own perceptions? What defines a person as fake? I believe that everybody is entitled to make their own decisions. I, myself have seriously considered it in the past. It's nothing to be ashamed of. Although I didn't go through with it in the end (I share my reasons why in the video) I still understand why anybody would want to go through with it. However, I also understand it's a huge decision and not something to be taken lightly. I hope this video can challenge how you really feel about cosmetic surgery. In the end, it is up to you to decide and that's fine. As long as you really think it through. This video is for anybody who is contemplating on the thought of getting cosmetic surgery or for anybody who is simply curious. I'm no professional and I have no right to tell you guys what to do.
