As well as singing all of the vocals on the album, Julie self-produced it; orchestrated all of the music and conducted the orchestra on the recording. The head piece Julie wears here and in her live shows originated in Julies own designed pages artwork. The multi-coloured house that features on Julies pages art-work was painted when Julie kindly asked Sharon Costello Desmond to paint it in specific colours that Julie picked out. She definitely didnt want any black but rather a child-like hopefulness and fairytale playfulness. For Julies live performances, she had the desire to wear the house on her head and with the help of Dave Brittain asked Attack on Humans to make it basing it on her original artwork. Of course the running theme of fabulous headwear is evident in Julies award winning video for Impossibly Beautiful where she wears headpieces designed by Piers Atkinson.
