Why Near Death, Because I did not mean to do it, it just happened..I went out for a midnight ride, the road was wet and iced which I wasn't aware of the Ice(that what made that happen) I used brakes and the ABS was quickly triggered, meaning wheels are sliding meaning, the car is on Icy road..the car turned to the right, I quickly put an oppesit reacting which was to turn left, there where the car spins..when i was facing teh oppesit direction of the road I pulled on teh handbrake to make a move as grabbing teh surface of teh road with my rear wheels..and finally the car comes to a complete stop at the shoulder.. Now, I have to say Subaru Impreza is a the best car I ever driven..AWD 2.0R, I have TEIN suspinstion with hard settings (5 clicks) on the damping force which helped alot..18" Wheels and STi Spoiler. the car is a Non-Turbo.. Advises: - Use lower gears to slow down on downhills, dry or wet roads for safety.. - Make sure you check the road for Ice or snow before starting to drive.. - Drive at slow speed, you never know when you could crash.. - Never try to do it AT ALL..... Thank god I did not jumb off with my car to tell the story..

I referred the vehicle to Pete Stop Motor Company as they were the ones who helped with the clutch and overview of the build. So basically i bought it and then instantly sold it again to pete stop. Then, Pete Stop sells it to the new owner named "Christian" - yes, first name was angle, second christian 0 Christian is driving it to Maine where it will be a shop and sponsor vehicle for his custom shop as well. Check out the last and final meeting with this vehicle as we introduce the new owner to the vehicle and answer some questions. This is probably the last time I'll ever see this car so I video taped about 25 minutes of footage to share with you and for my own personal record. Way back in May of 1998, a small car club called the Subaru Impreza WRX Club of New South Wales was created. Nearly a year later on the 18th January 1999, a short promotional news story appeared about the Club on the Today Show on Channel Nine (Australia). The news item also touched on NSW Police's first foray into trying out WRX's as Police vehicles, and also on the focus at the time of WRX's being stolen as ram-raid and getaway vehicles (these day's it's Audi's now!). INTEGRALE VESTITO CHANNEL - Vatanen was born and grew up in rural Tuupovaara in Eastern Finland. His debut year in professional rallying was 1970, and he debuted in the World Rally Championship at the 1974 1000 Lakes Rally. He won the British Rally Championship in 1976 and 1980 with Peter Bryant and David Richards. In 1977, Vatanen became a regular privateer contestant in the WRC with a Ford Escort RS1800. For the 1979 season, he was signed by Rothmans Rally Team. Continuing with an RS1800, he took his debut win at the 1980 Acropolis Rally and became the World Rally Champion in 1981. From 1979 until the end of 1981, Vatanen was co-driven by David Richards, who went on to become chairman of Prodrive, the Banbury based motorsport team and one of the most influential figures in British (and worldwide) motorsport. In the 1982 season, Vatanen did not defend his title and competed in only three world rallies. In 1984, Vatanen signed to drive the Peugeot 205 T16 for Peugeot's factory team. From the 1984 1000 Lakes Rally to 1985 Swedish Rally, Vatanen won five world rallies in a row. Close to death after a major accident on the 1985 Rally Argentina, Vatanen spent 18 months winning a personal health battle over serious injury and depression. He went on to make a complete recovery and his return to motorsport in 1987 saw him go on to win the Paris-Dakar Rally four times; with Peugeot in 1987, 1989 and 1990, and with Citroën in 1991.
