I´ve tried to find a nice setting at lower volumen cause if I crank it up like I do on stage it would kill my neighbours (sorry folks) the amp is now running almoust 13years and it never give up. the input section is boosted with very old korg a5, no effects used, just deliver a little bit more input to the amp

This is a basic side by side test (or top and bottom) of My Marshall and a friends Crate BV 60 (thanx Paul). The reason for the test was ALLOT of people really talk down about the Blue Voodoo heads and when they are set up correctly they sound pretty good, you judge for yourself. guitar used, ESP LTD EC-1000 SSB W custom Tusq nut. EMG 85 Bridge 81 Neck. Strings, D'Addario EXL110-7 Regular Light 7-String 10-59 (dropped the 10 so it's 13-59) Settings for each head. Here's a comparison or shootout style video between an Avatar Vintage "Bluesbreaker" style 2x12 cab loaded with Hellatone 30's and a Marshall JCM900 1936 2x12 cab...it's a "real" made in England Marshall with a pair of made in England Celestion G12T-75 speakers and can be run 150 watts into 8 ohms mono or 75 watts/16 ohms per side stereo...I was using it mono. The Hellatone's are slightly aged Celestion G12H30 70th Anniversary speakers and are a true 30 watt speaker...my cab is an 8 ohm (60 watt) mono cab. Just a short clip of my Marshall JCM 900 SL-X and 1960A cab. Sorry for the bad quality sound. It was recorded with the camera mic. I used a Nikon D3100 with an 18-55mm vr lens @ f/3.5. I will post a better video soon hopefully. The next one will probably be mic'd with an SM57. Marshall Model jcm900 SL-x - This ALL TUBE Amp is pretty clean. I have plugged and played this and it works well. When I turn up Loud, I hear a little static noise. Not sure how old the tubes are. Cosmetic condition a good 8 or 9 out of 10 in my opinion. You HAVE to have a foot switch to access channel B. I do NOT have the original, but had an old 2 button footswitch & plugged into this amp with standard mono 1/4" cable, it does switch from Channel A to Channel B. I took plenty of photos for your consideration & also took a short video to give an idea of what it sounds like through a flip video microphone in a room. I will answer questions you may have to my best ability.

I cranked my JCM 900 on channel A to saturate the 6L6's. The preamp was on 5. One hell of a loud amp! I used earplugs and it was still loud. I used my Gibson Flying V with a Dirty Fingers pickup in the bridge. The camera was in my closet.
