Distributed in the US by IFC Films. SUPER is the story of Frank Darbo (Rainn Wilson), a cook in a local diner, who loses his wife Sarah (Liv Tyler) to a glamorous drug dealer, Jacques (Kevin Bacon). Armed with only a pipe wrench, Frank decides to dress up as a superhero, the Crimson Bolt, to fight the injustices in the world he can't seem to overcome in his own life. Along the way he teams up with Libby (Ellen Page), a nymphomaniac, sociopathic 22 year old comic book store clerk, who becomes his ultraviolent "kid sidekick" Boltie. Together they fight true evil - people who butt in line, sell pot, or key the sides of cars - and, eventually, they take on Jacques and his other gangsters to save Frank's wife. SUPER is in turns violent, dramatic, comedic, and tragic, and promises to be one of the most outrageous films of 2011.

In 1970 University of Kansas professor James Gunn interviewed a series of science fiction authors for his Centron film series "Science Fiction in Literature". This footage from an unreleased film in that series featuring an interview with Rod Serling, which wasn't finished due to problems with obtaining rights to show footage from Serling's work in television. This reconstruction is based on the original workprint footage that was saved on two separate analog sources since the audio track was separate. Re-syncing the footage was a long involved process as the audio track didn't match the film and there was substantial sync drift. While not perfect, there's a lot of interesting information on writing for television in the dialogue with Serling as well as a prophetic statement about his health at the beginning.

Yes, AMC did do a life cast statue of Michael Rooker as his character "Merle Dixon" for Comic-Con 2011. In fact, the entire AMC booth was a recreation of his infamous rooftop scene. There were hancuffs, a saw and bloody walker zombies. Now only one question remains. Hey Robert Kirkman, where is Merle's action figure? Here is official live video of Michael Rooker with "The Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman and director James Gunn of the movie "Super" . They dish the dirt on why Michael Rooker should, or should not, get his own action figure. Rooker wore his favorite hat and dark shades as he was trying to go incognito.
