"Too Many Broken Hearts" is a popular song by Australian singer Jason Donovan. Written and produced by Stock, Aitken and Waterman it was Donovan's first solo number one single for two weeks in March 1989, though he had made number one with his duet with Kylie Minogue "Especially for You" in January 1989. The music video was filmed in Beechworth, Victoria. The song was one of the tracks on his Greatest Hits album in 1991 and again on a later collection in 2006.In September 2010, Donovan took part in the BBC Television Series Who Do You Think You Are?, tracing his family tree back several generations. Donovan's fifth studio album, Soundtrack Of The 80s, was released in October 2010. The album is composed of cover versions of well known 80s hits such as "Drive" (The Cars), "I Just Died In Your Arms" (Cutting Crew) and "Sign Your Name" (Terence Trent D'Arby) and several others. Donovan was recently announced to be playing the role of The Artilleryman in the 2010--2011 stage show Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds. The show will tour the UK and Europe, starting in November 2010 and finishing in Germany in January 2011.[citation needed] In 2010, Donovan voiced the part of Toby the Kangaroo in the environmental animated film, Animals United. "Sealed with a Kiss" is the title of a song written by Peter Udell and Gary Geld. It was first recorded by The Four Voices in 1960 as a single, but their recording was not a hit. In 1962, Brian Hyland, who often performed Udell and Geld's material, covered the song. Hyland's single was a hit, reaching #3 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart. When re-released in 1975, Hyland's recording charted in the UK at # 7. Hyland also recorded a version in German. Gary Lewis and the Playboys released a single in 1968. Their cover version was a Billboard #19 hit and placed high on the Hot 100. A third Top 40 Hot 100 version came in 1972, when Bobby Vinton released a single, again reaching #19 in the Billboard singles charts. This version also placed high on Billboard's adult contemporary chart. Bobby Vinton's recording was used in both the trailer and end credits of the 2007 film All the Boys Love Mandy Lane. In 1989, Jason Donovan topped the UK Singles Chart for two weeks with his version. He included this recording in his debut album, Ten Good Reasons. Donovan re-recorded the song in 2008 for his album Let It Be Me.Jason Donovan (born 1 June 1968, Malvern, Melbourne) is an Australian actor and singer. He initially achieved success in the Australian soap opera Neighbours.
