Every year this event pulls in thousands of riders and transforms the town. A great event that makes a town really come alive. The value of bike inventory has to be in the billions of dollars! To experience it, is to know it and, come again. Weather was overcast so not as hot as some years - and the video is therefore not as bright as might have been. it's hoped the compilation gives a 'feel' of this superb biker's annual event.

JHS - Dark McCort - Light Johnstown High entered the game with a 7-1 record beating WPIAL rivals McKeesport and Altoona along the way. JHS featured two All-WPIAL players in Quarterback #19 Jack Buchan and End #81 Ben McDay. #40 Artrell Hawkins and Dave Sheridan led the ground game for the Trojans. Bishop McCort came into the season finale sporting a 4-4 record winning their rivalry game against Altoona's Bishop Guilfoyle led by Quarterback and eventual Penn State Defensive Coordinator Tom Bradley. Even with the statistical differential coming into the game it turned out to be an edge of the seat type contest for the 10000+ in attendance.

Two severe thunderstorms hit Johnstown PA on Aug. 9, 2007 (this video was the 1st storm) and brought constant lightning and torrential downpours (2.65" of rain), causing flash flooding and mudslides in the area. Trees were down and power was knocked out for hours, due to high winds. A funnel cloud was reported in Davidsville, about 8 miles south of Johnstown, in Somerset Co. This was a very memorable weather day in western and central PA.

Tenth Avenue North went on the Make Your Move tour with Third Day and stopped at the Cambria County War Memorial in Johnstown, Pennsylvania on March 26, 2011. I closed my eyes a few times during the song and the camera dipped down, but the quality of sound is amazing. We were front row, so it was just an awesome concert altogether!

The TF crew and I flew out to Johnstown, PA for a two-night shoot with the Johnny Hiland Band and to also document the Thunder In The Valley motorcycle rally -- a lot didn't go as planned. Long story short, the entire project was scrapped due to a new guitar endorsement and an overall change in musical direction. Either way, we had a good time! I don't know why this guy isn't world-famous yet?! This was the first and only edit we tested for the band. Credit goes to Charlie Diaz for the overall "woodstock-y" look of it. Great idea!

Movie to highlight the wonderful time had by all at the 1st annual SERB FEST 2010 after an absence of many years. This two-day event showcased author Gregory Freeman signing his THE FORGOTTEN 500 book and answering questions to a full house audience at the War Memorial in Johnstown, PA on Saturday, July 31. Chee-Chee Czubak, hostess with the mostest from Johnstown, then escorted Gregory Freeman and "Baba Mim" Bizic to the Uzelac Family Reunion (140 strong!). Before the night was over, Pete Anzalone from Canton, OH & Johnstown native Bob Stramanak paid us an unexpected, but welcomed visit. Sunday church service was conducted by Rev. Milos Markovic. The beautiful displays you see here were made by Kristina Marinkovich, who also served as a Bride for the wedding ceremony. Groom was Christopher McAllister who also served as a choir conductor while regular choir director Suzette Gardenhour worked in the kitchen. The crowd enthusiastically welcomed Gregory Freeman who didn't disappoint, telling about the brave deeds of the Serbian people, their General Draza Mihailovich, and local Cambria County native George (GOV) Musulin, a hero in THE FORGOTTEN 500. The event was jointly sponsored by the Johnstown Bottleworks Ethnic Museum and St. Nicholas Parish. Rich Uzelac did a fanatastic job as MC. SNF Director Cissy Rebich brought a gift of $200 from the Savez, and Mim Bizic also briefly spoke about Johnstown's warm hospitality. It was a huge success as the lines snaked all the way <b>...</b>
