Due to a major transportation strike in Kathmandu Nepal January 21st 2007, thousands take to the streets by foot to get where they need to go. As we made our way from the Kathmandhu airport to Pashupatinath, the Nepalese taxi driver told his account of what was happening.

Revealing Lake Wanaka - Chris Riley
Chris has been skippering boats on Lake Wanaka, leading trips on the lakes islands and working as a fishing guide on the lake and surrounding rivers since 1991. His childhood was spent in, on , or under the water, in the far North of New Zealand, which has stood him in good stead for his experience of ice diving in Antarctica for Documentary filming with NZ Chris has been involved "hands on" in Tourism, Ski Guiding and driving in the South Island in Wanaka, Queenstown and Mt Hutt since 1983. His summers were spent doing sales in Melbourne and Sydney, and raft guiding on the East Coast of Australia. He also led treks and raft guided in Nepal, based in Kathmandhu for two seasons, in the Annapurnas, and Everest Region to Base Camp. Now, living here in our "Slice of Heaven" as he calls it -- Chris wants to share with you some of our secrets here in Wanaka.
