KFOR Tribute (HD)

Tribut to all international soldiers in Kosovo! www.facebook.com www.roterfreitag.de The Kosovo Force (KFOR) is a NATO-led international peacekeeping force responsible for establishing a secure environment in Kosovo. KFOR entered Kosovo on 12 June 1999 under a United Nations mandate, two days after the adoption of UN Security Council Resolution 1244. At the time of UN Security Council Resolution 1244, Kosovo was facing a grave humanitarian crisis, with military and paramilitary forces from the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY) and the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) in daily engagement. Ethnic tensions were at their highest and the death toll had reached a historic high. Nearly one million people had fled Kosovo as refugees.[ As of January 2010, KFOR consists of fewer than 10000 troops. As of 1 February 2010, the Multinational Task Forces changed the structure and become Multinational Battle Groups. Kosovo: Violent Clashes Between NATO's KFOR and Serbian Minority

Tensions run high on Serbia's border with northern Kosovo, as neither of the conflicting sides is prepared to rule out a further escalation of violence. Local Serbs say NATO forces are to blame, for breaking an agreement by trying to remove a barricade blocking the way to one of a number of disputed checkpoints. The move prompted violent clashes that left dozens injured on both sides. Last night in Northern Kosovo passed without violence though this does not mean that the source of tensions has disappeared. On November 23 the NATO's KFOR forces attempted to remove a barricade put up by ethnic Serbian minority of the region. The resistance was tense so the soldiers used tear gas. More than 20 people were injured but the Serbs got it their way and the KFOR operation was ceased. RT crew traveled around the area and saw the barricades that have been there for the last four months still up. They are constantly maintained and people there say they are not going to abandon them in any case and in fact are planning to build more of them. To an untrained eye those barricades seem to be mere piles of rubble, amateurishly constructed. One would never say they could become a cause of armed conflict. But in order to comprehend why the barricades appeared in the first place, the developments in July in Kosovo must be remembered. The Serbian minority, that constitutes 10 per cent of the Kosovo population, lost any kind of legal status once Kosovo unilaterally proclaimed independence ...

Norwegian KFOR protecting Serbs in Kosovo 2004

On Feb. 18, 2007, NRK, the Norwegian national public broadcaster, aired a story about Norwegian soldiers being forces to kill on operations. KFOR, the NATO-led peacekeeping force in Kosovo, received massive criticism when they failed to protect Serbs during the violent unrest in Kosovo on March 17 and 18, 2004. However, NRK's journalist Eirik Veum told the story of Norwegian soldiers protecting Serbs with their lives. Norwegian soldiers killed at least two Albanians when they tried to force themselves into the Serbian enclave of Čaglavica just outside Pristina, and the Norwegian KFOR soldiers did an excellent job when many other nations failed. For his stories, Veum was nominated for a prize at SKUP, The Norwegian foundation for investigative journalism. More about his methods in his report: www.skup.no (Norwegian) More about NRK: en.wikipedia.org More about the violent unrest in 2004: en.wikipedia.org This YouTube video is published with permission from NRK, and the last part of the video is about Norwegian soldiers killing civilians and combatants in Somalia. Subtitles for this section will be added later.

Pavic: KFOR Action Against Serbia is an Aggressive Show of Force

NATO peacekeepers have used tear gas to take control of one of the barricades in Northern Kosovo, built by local Serbs several months ago in an ongoing border dispute. Political analyst Aleksandar Pavic insists KFOR forces act as occupiers. But the success of the KFOR troops was short-lived, after a new block was put up further down the road. The crackdown comes just days after the head of the UN drew attention to the increasing number of attacks on Serbs living in Northern Kosovo. NATO troops were deployed to the region to keep the peace and separate the conflicting sides. However, by bulldozing barricades they seem to have taken a particular side. And as Aleksandar Pavic says, the alliance has been doing this for years, while there is a bigger picture behind its actions in Serbia. "They've broken their mandate, actually. They are doing the job of the Albanian-controlled government in Pristina, and they are doing it openly, in spite of their mandate from the UN, which is supposed to be a peace-keeping mandate, to keep the warring sides separated," he told RT. Speaking of the latest events around the barricades, Pavic notes that the KFOR action is an "aggressive show of force". "They are acting like an occupier, instead of peace-keeping," he added. With all that, it is not just about Kosovo, the political analyst pointed out. "This is part of a larger picture, and I think people should be very much aware of that," Pavic said. "The same powers that are controlling NATO are ...

Latest footage that the EU and Western alliance nations don't want people to see. The enforcement of terror against the Serbian people and its policy of supporting Kosovan Albanian threats towards the Serbian population living in Serbian Kosovo. Watch when the KFOR legionare's see the helicopter being filmed as they fly in Albanian special forces. This is pure evidence that the EU and the US are truely invading nations who do not seek peace.
