US & hostile Arab states support terrorist in Syria

the prominent political analyst Kamel Wazne says the US and Arab states support terrorist groups against the elected Syrian government to topple President Bashar Assad from power. Press TV:Kamal Wazni, let's have your take and if you can put it into perspective for us, you have Assad who has introduced reforms including this new constitution of which 90 percent turned out. And then you have the US senator, [the Republican senator] John McCain, who is asking for the continuation of arming the opposition and then, of course, an attack on Syria. Don't you think that these efforts from the outside US-led Western-backed is hindering what Assad is trying to do in terms of trying to calm the situation, at least in terms of violence, and then pushing the country forward? Wazne: Well, obviously there's a deliberate act on the United States and some Persian Gulf countries to make impossible for the Syrians to have a peaceful transition for the crisis they're going through. Everybody admitted that Syria needed reforms. Actually the president of Syria took major steps and obviously reforming the constitution was the last in a long accomplishment for the president of Syria, and the people of Syria voted on that referendum. But for the United States and for the Israelis and some Persian Gulf countries that's not enough because what they want, they want the head of the resistance in the region to be gone. Middle East Today-Lebanese Cabinet Collapse-01-21-2011-(Part1)

Lebanese crisis surrounding the special Tribunal for Lebanon has reached a new phase after the resignation of the ministers of the Lebanese opposition which includes Hezbollah and allies. Although Parliamentary consultations to name the next Prime Minister were postponed to make way for more regional consultations for solution to the crisis, it seems that even such talks are not moving ahead as king Abdollah of Saudi Arabia has decided to abandon mediation efforts which have included Syria, Qatar and Turkey. What is clear now is that Hezbollah said that they will not accept any future government that will be silent about the International Tribunal which they believe is a US-Israeli project that would have repercussions on the entire region. To talk more on this, Mariam Saleh is joined by former Lebanese Minister, Bishara Merhej, Kamel Wazne, political Analyst and Lebanon's caretaker of Social Affairs Minister, Salim Sayegh.

And a top US intelligence chief has admitted that Al-Qaeda could be operating in Syria. That's led political analyst Kamel Wazne to conclude that Washington is getting friendly with terrorists. ........................................................................... Al Qaeda influence complicates US approach to Syria Published February 18, 2012 | FoxNews.com Iran is propping up Bashar Assad in Syria. An Al Qaeda affiliate is "extending its reach into Syria," possibly infiltrating the opposition as Al Qaeda's leader publicly endorses the anti-Assad movement. Yet Iran supposedly has consummated a "shotgun marriage" with Al Qaeda and is releasing Al Qaeda prisoners, in spite of its feelings for the Assad regime. The Middle East would appear more complicated than ever. These allegiances were all detailed this past week by the nation's top intelligence official. And, as Defense Secretary Leon Panetta observed, the dynamic has made any decision about US involvement in the region that much more difficult. Read more: www.foxnews.com ...

The Army Air Forces pilot Cummings played ("Bob Collins") died off camera, but was resurrected ten years later for his television show. Cummings was chosen by producer John Wayne as his co-star to play airline pilot Captain Sullivan in The High and the Mighty, partly due to Cummings's flying experience. However, director William A. Oil Discovery and Distribution of Wealth in Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates (1968)

thefilmarchive.org Proven oil reserves in Saudi Arabia are the second largest claimed in the world, estimated to be 267 billion barrels (42×109 m3) (Gbbl hereafter) including 2.5 Gbbl in the Saudi-Kuwaiti neutral zone. These reserves were the largest in the world until Venezuela announced they had increased their proven reserves to 297 Gbbl in January 2011. The Saudi reserves are about one-fifth of the world's total conventional oil reserves, a large fraction of these reserves comes from a small number of very large oil fields, and past production amounts to 40% of the stated reserves. Oil reserves in the United Arab Emirates, according to its government, are about 98 billion barrels (15.6×109 m3), almost as big as Kuwait's claimed reserves. Of the emirates, Abu Dhabi has most of the oil with 92 billion barrels (14.6×109 m3) while Dubai has 4 billion barrels (640×106 m3) and Sharjah has 1.5 billion barrels (240×106 m3). Most of the oil is in the Zakum field which is the third largest in the Middle East with an estimated 66 billion barrels (10.5×109 m3). The UAE produces about 2.9 million barrels per day (460×103 m3/d) of total oil liquids, but has stated its intention to increase this to 5 million barrels per day (790×103 m3/d) by 2014. The UAE's reserves-to-production is about 93 years. The petroleum industry includes the global processes of exploration, extraction, refining, transporting (often by oil tankers and pipelines), and marketing petroleum products. The Outlaw: Jane Russell, Walter Huston, Mimi Aguglia, Gene Rizzi (1943 Movie)

DVD: www.amazon.com thefilmarchive.org The Outlaw is a 1943 American western film, directed by Howard Hughes and starring Jane Russell. The supporting cast includes Jack Buetel, Thomas Mitchell, and Walter Huston. Hughes also produced the film, while Howard Hawks served as an uncredited co-director. The film is notable as Russell's breakthrough role, largely due to the costuming, turning the young actress into a sex symbol and a Hollywood icon. The film revolves around a fictional relationship between Doc Holliday (Walter Huston) and Billy the Kid (Jack Buetel), and their feud over a woman named Rio McDonald (Jane Russell). The film also includes Pat Garrett (Thomas Mitchell), the Kid's nemesis. Cast Jack Buetel as Billy the Kid Jane Russell as Rio McDonald Thomas Mitchell as Pat Garrett Walter Huston as Doc Holliday Mimi Aguglia as Guadalupe Joe Sawyer as Charley Although the movie was completed in February 1941, it received only a limited release two years later, and did not get a general release until 23 April 1946, when United Artists premiered the film in San Francisco. The delay was a result of Hughes defying the Production Code, which set the standard of morally acceptable content in motion pictures. By showcasing Russell's breasts in both the movie and the poster artwork, The Outlaw became very controversial. In 1941, while filming The Outlaw, Hughes felt that the camera did not do justice to Jane Russell's large bust. He employed his engineering skills to design ...

She was subsequently cast in a leading role in the sci-fi hit Fantastic Voyage (1966), which made her a star. She was the last star created under the studio system.
