In a VOA exclusive, Pakistan's former president and military dictator General Pervez Musharraf called President Karzai's comments concerning the possible war between Pakistan and the US "ridiculous." Answering a question on a Pakistani TV channel, President Karzai had said that if war ever broke out between Pakistan and the US, Afghanistan will side with its brother Pakistan. General Musharraf said that there was no possibility of war between Pakistan and the US and that Karzai should focus on his own country and on neutralizing Al-Qaeda and Taliban and not on speculating about distant possibilities that can be disastrous for both Pakistan and Afghanistan.
