Today the death of Amy Winehouse became even more real as friends and family gathered for her private funeral held in London. Kelly Osbourne and Mark Ronson were among the celebrity friends of Amy's who attended the service held in the north part of the city. The service was expected to be followed by cremation and a family gathering at a local synagogue. Paparazzi and fans lined the outer limits of the cemetery as Winehouse's close friends and family entered the property to pay their respects. Kelly wore all black and fashioned her hair in a beehive as a tribute to the late Amy. And during the service, those in attendance sang Amy's favorite song Carole King's So Far Away. Her rep Chris Goodman told the Daily Mail that her father Mitch gave a touching eulogy at the funeral. He said, "Mitch's last words to Amy in his eulogy were 'Goodnight my angel. Sleep tight. Mummy and Daddy love you ever so much." Reg Traviss, who was Amy's most recent boyfriend was also in attendance, but her ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil was not, as he's currently serving a 32 month jail sentence. Winehouse's body was taken to Golders Green Crematorium, where her grandmother was cremated. Our thoughts go out to her family and friends at this time.
