KotOR Save Malak Alternate Ending
I feel a bit bad for Malak in Knights of the Old Republic. I've always believed that it was his friendship with Revan that caused his fall to the dark side. From Wookieepedia: "As you duel on the Star Forge, Malak is eventually brought to his knees, mortally injured. Amazed that he has been defeated, Malak begins to regret turning to the dark side. Revan tells him that it was the way of the dark side: all things die in the end. Malak tells Revan that maybe there was more truth in the Jedi Code than he ever believed, and wonders what would have happened if their positions had been reversed; if he had been captured by the Jedi and returned to the light. Revan apologizes to Malak for starting him down the path of the dark side, but reminds Malak that he had chosen to continue it. Malak dies with sorrow and regret over his deeds, and without hatred or malice towards his one-time closest friend." I wanted to share this with everyone, although it's not really my speed (but I LOVE the other ending included with this mod). This mod's a little strange. It is only for Female, DS players. Strange because saving Malak would be something that a light sided player would do, but you can't trigger it unless you're dark sided. Anyway, this is part of Kristy Kistic's "2 Altered Endings" mod. Star Wars KotOR completed in 2 hours - Knights of the Old Republic I HD
Star Wars - Knights of the Old Republic 1 completed in just over 2 hours. There's a similar "KotOR II in 2 hours" video on my channel here: www.youtube.com . This video was made on a PC on normal difficulty without any mods. The goal was to finish the whole game, using segments, as quickly as possible. More information available in the following forum topic: tinyurl.com General info I've used a high strength based Soldier / Guardian character. High strength makes fights faster because it helps with to-hit chances *and* the damage you incur is greater. (High dexterity would help with defense as well as the to-hit chance, but won't increase the damage.) My main defense is the ability to quickly dispatch enemies so I don't have to defend myself for long. Being a Guardian is useful because of force jump. Although the time saved is just a couple of seconds with each jump, they do add up and other classes don't have a similar advantage. Furthermore, only a Soldier / Guardian can squeeze in *all* the relevant offensive feats if your final level is 13. Alignment Light side. Although some of my choices are rewarded with dark side points, the run is certainly over 90% light and I went for the light side ending. Lightsaber I use Bastila's yellow double blade because: * it's available the moment I can start using one * it makes the best use of upgrades (crystals count double in such a weapon compared to two separate sabers) * it does more damage than the default single blade * it's <b>...</b>

KotOR II Done Quick: Star Wars - Knights of the Old Republic II The Sith Lords completed in less than 2 hours. There's a similar "KotOR I in 2 hours" video on my channel here: www.youtube.com . The video was made on a PC using normal (default) difficulty, no mods. The goal was to finish the whole game, using segments, as quickly as possible. If you want to be able to see every detail & read all text and scores, I recommend at least 480p quality, if you can afford the bandwidth. Here's a brief tricks / glitches explanation. Trigger line skipping When the currently controlled character reaches trigger lines in the game, sequences such as cutscenes and fights are triggered. Under certain conditions, it's possible to send another party member beyond this line without tripping the trigger. You can then switch to him / her and continue and thus avoid the time consuming sequence. I've found three ways to do this. 1) Go to solo mode, run close to the trigger line, kick a party member and then add him back to the team. If you approached the line the ideal way, sometimes the game places him just beyond the trigger line. Switch to him and continue past the line. 2) Leave a party member behind and go to solo mode. Stand close to the trigger line, turn around in an arc and deactivate solo mode. It helps if the other party member is far enough, or beyond an obstacle <b>...</b>

KOTOR 2 Cut Content: Sion Versus Nihilus

Maybe. o_o (definitely not myself, though) Some background on this scene, provided by Valec of TSLRP forums: In the cut-content of kotor 2 there is a segment in which all the party members believe you to be dead, this is part of the genoharraden sidequest and I'll lay it out briefly for you all on how it was supposed to go 1. Before you hit Nar Shadaa there was supposed to be a cutscene of a sith assasin informing Sion that you are currently on the smugglers moon Sion pledges to go there and kill you, and in so doing kill the last of the jedi 2. On your travels on Nar Shadaa you come across the Genoharraden headquarters, and you fight with their leader (it's much more complicated then stumbling across it but im simplifying) when you defeat Desicuss inside the Genoharadden base the entire base blows up.........this leaves your party member, and Sion who supposedly sees this thinking you are dead 3. Sion then travels to the Ravager to tell Nihilus that you have been killed on Nar Shadaa and that their alliance together is finished, Nihilus then proceeds to kick his ass orrignally what was supposed to happen was Nihilus was supposed to kill Sion outright, and this was tied to the Atris as Kreia ending that will not be restored, so instead the scene has been modified so Sion limps away beaten

KotOR 2: M4-78 (the Droid Planet)
M4-78 was originally created for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II, but was cut from the game due to time constraints. You can download M4-78 here: knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com And then you'll need to install the patch found here: knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com My personal thoughts on this mod? It's great. DStoney must have worked really hard on it, and we're lucky he's made it and shared it with us, no doubt. But that does not change the fact that it feels quite tedious in places, and really, the story line doesn't fit super-well with the game as it is. The amount of back tracking required was a bit rediculous, and without a reasonable number of journal entries, I ended up stuck and frustrated more than once. Also, in some of the neatest scenes in this mod, mainly when Sion attacks the Exile, the view is MUCH too far away. It would have been nice to see it closer up. Also, same thing with the scene involving the crew aboard the Ebon Hawk. I had fun exploring all the new and restored content, but at the end of the day, I WON'T be making it a part of my normal gameplay. You've got to be careful if you make a mod mandatory to finishing the main missions. I've tried to capture the best parts of the mod for this vid. You will noticed I've sped up some of the less important sequences to fit the time limit. :)

Requested by DancingNinjaKiwis, I made this video showing all lightsaber colors in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2. *I've been working on the video for some time, but due to my injury, I decided to release as is* Shown in the video are: Blue, Yellow, Green, Red, Violet, Orange, Silver, Viridian, Bronze & Cyan *Note* - Silver: the exact quote by the Exile is, "like the streams in the room of a Thousand Fountains on Coruscant". - Cyan: the information is based on Star Wars Encyclopedia. It's also the default color in the cutscenes. - Most of the fighting scenes are newly recorded, except for Blue, Yellow & Green, which are extracted from my KOTOR walkthroughs. - New color crystals in KOTOR2 appear randomly. In the Temple Catacombs, I get Sapith Crystal from the pillar which is protected by deadly mines. I must solve 'Square Floor Tiles Puzzle' to open the locked door. The Rakata Computer notices my neurological patterns are different from my last visit as Darth Revan. I request him to give me the generic data of the Rakata (Rakatan Research Quest), and to open the doors to the Upper Level. Before I go up to the Temple Summit, Jolee tampers with the computer to get extra XP - it's fun to hear droids fighting each other! Console: X-Box
