Kumi Mizuno Tribute
Here are two Japanese songs performed by the famous jazz singers Chiemi Eri and Ryoko Moriyama, chosen to illustrate the beauty of Japanese cult actress Kumi Mizuno (in Japanese 水野久美). Born on New Years Day of 1937 in Nigata, Japan, Kumi Mizuno (original name being Maya Igarashi) debuted in the Minoru Shibuya film "Crazy Society" in 1957 after graduating from acting school. The next year, she took part in a promotional campaign for the famous Toho Studios with two other young actresses, resulting in a trio named "The Three Beauties". Her first Toho film was "A Bridge for Us Alone" in 1958. Her attractive looks and pleasant demeanor made her a favorite of director Ishiro Honda, resulting in her participation in his series of movies with angry monsters. When asked to assess the best performers whom he had directed, he commented: "The best actress was Kumi Mizuno. She was very genuine. Once she was involved in a film, she would just step right into her role." Mizuno contributed to some of the most unforgettable movies of Japanese sci-fi of the 60s. She appeared in "Birth of Japan" (1959) (maybe the biggest movie of the year in her country, at the side of illustrious Toshiro Mifune), "Gorath" (1962), "Lost World of Sinbad" (1963, again with Toshiro Mifune), "Matango" (aka "Attack of the Mushroom People", 1963), "Frankenstein Conquers the World" (1965), and "War of the Gargantuas" (1966). Koda Kumi PVs ~part I~
I've been counting Kuu's PVs and at first I thought there is a round one hundred of them (counting the upcoming 4Times single, Kumi PVs + collaborations, no dance version PVs or alternate versions), but then it occurred there are only 98. I had to split the video into two parts because of my 15 minutes video restriction, if I'm counting right, I'd have only ~9 secs for each PV if I wanted to stuck them into those 15 minutes, I wanted to avoid that. Therefore, I used 50 PVs for this first part of the video and I'll probably use 48 for the second part, releasing it after 4Times single is out, that is after August 17th ...or can wait for two more PVs which would be another two to six months until next single ;) Guess, I wouldn't do that :) Thanks for watching :)

Bringing together people from all over the world to enjoy a video game themed course with teams of 3 attacking it together it made for a different type of riding from a standard 2 run slope and the riders really enjoyed it. There are even rumours of a French event being held in Japan in the future which could be an interesting take on what went down in 2Alpes.

Kumi Naidoo appeal
Kumi Naidoo, honorary president of CIVICUS and co-chair of the Global Call to Action Against Poverty, is in day seven of a 21-day hunger strike in support of the struggling people of Zimbabwe. He recorded this video message from Johannesburg to urge Avaaz members throughout Africa and the world to join the solidarity action by pledging to fast for a day. Kumi will bring the messages and names of fasters around the world to the African Union summit on Sunday, February 1 and urge other African leaders to stand up to Robert Mugabe.

But I have the impression Koda Kumi's English version is hard to find, that's why I upload it on Youtube! In my opinion, Jade's voice is prettier but Koda Kumi makes the song sounds more powerful and more moving!
