About 2 months ago I had the opportunity to go down to Miami for the day to pickup a car from the dealership and drive it back to NJ. While I was at the dealership they had the new LP570 Superleggera demo car sitting in front. Towards the end of the day one of the salesman took me out for a spin in the car and during the drive a cop saw us driving fast and followed us! Enjoy!

I went for a test drive in a friend's brand new Lamborghini LP570-4 Superleggera, one of the very first ever made and probably the 1st delivered to Italy!! This was also a way to make a review about this new Lambo, with my voice in the vid I will talk a little bit about this car. The vid shows first some angles, then a warm up of the engine with several brutal revs to the rev limiter! Then, it follows some driving scenes on the road, some fun powersliding in the roundabout and my onboard camera, showing some amazing accelerations and downshifts driving in Corsa mode! Be sure to turn up the speakers.. the engine is the same of the LP560-4, but its a little bit louder. The video was taken in total safety without breaking the local speed limit.

I went for a ride in a friend's brand new Lamborghini LP570-4 SL at the Monza racetrack. The exterior of the car comes in Bianco Moncerus while the interior is black all over alcantara and carbon fiber. Also, the exhaust is no more stock and it has been changed with the same one of the Lamborghini LP560-4 SuperTrofeo race car. Vid shows a couple of laps in Sport and in Corsa mode, a battle with an orange LP560-4, some flybys and revving scenes. Top speed in the vid around 290km/h in 6th gear. This is it, the final edition of the 8 years old Gallardo. The Lamborghini LP Stradale is based on the racecar version SuperTrofeo, it uses the same 5.2L V10 570bhp engine, but with a massive weight reduction. It has a maximum dry weight of 1340kg, shaving an extra 70kg from the LP 560-4. The power-to-weight ratio of 2.35 kilograms per hp allows the car to sprint from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.4 seconds and 200km/h just 10.4 seconds later. Top speed is 320km/h. Here is the all new Lamborghini Performante LP570-4 Spyder. Most people who drive the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder invariably come away depressed, thinking the same thing: With 552 hp, a 0-to-60-mph time of about 3.5 seconds, and a claimed top speed of 201 mph, this thing is too damned slow. Lamborghini gets it. Although public attention is focused on the upcoming V-12--powered Murciélago replacement, Lamborghini's engineers have given the Gallardo Spyder the Superleggera treatment, dubbing the result the Gallardo LP570-4 Spyder Performante. The car was shown by Lamborghini concurrently with the LA auto show. It's Lighter and More Powerful, Naturally At 562 hp, this car's 5.2-liter V-10 makes 10 more horsepower than the one in the regular Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder. Full power is available at a screaming 8000 rpm; maximum torque is 398 lb-ft at 6500 rpm. The small power bump comes entirely from adjusting the engine management software. Would this change alone justify the "Performante" label? One of my greatest spots of these times: I've been at the presentation of the new Lamborghini LP570-4 Blancpain with Stefan Winkelmann, president of Lamborghini, and Mark Hayek, president of Blancpain, at Vallelunga. This new model is made on the base of the Superleggera, but with whole new interiors, bonnet and spoiler. The spoiler, as long as the bonnet, is directly derivated from the SuperTrofeo. In this video you can hear Stefan Winkelmann revealing some interesting details on the car and expecially on the future of Lamborghini, and you can, as long as see the car in all its details, hear its sound, with two start ups and some revs. Enjoy!

Lamborghini has presented the new Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale at the 2011 IAA in Franfurt. This new and most extreme top model in the Gallardo line-up is based on the successful race car from the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo, the world's fastest single-make series. The new car is equipped with the same rear spoiler that offers greater aerodynamic load -- reaching in the best aerodynamic condition 3 times the load of the Gallardo LP 560-4 -- for increased dynamic stability during tight, high-speed driving. As in the race cars, the rear spoiler can be varied manually in order to let the driver optimize the car's performance according to the track or road characteristics.

I have filmed a rare (1 of 12) Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Blancpain Edition. This is a different edition based on the Superleggera. This special-edition is distinguished from the standard model with such unique touches as a vented engine cover and a big rear wing, along with carbon fiber parts, Skorplus wheels and carbon-ceramic brakes. A matte black finish with yellow accents further set its apart inside and out.
