I love Lakoda Rayne. What more can I say? Well... I was originally writing a song about how life is too short to not make the most of every moment you get. At some point I started thinking about Lakoda Rayne's journey on X Factor, how they auditioned as individuals with no intentions of being in the groups category, but the judges clearly recognized that they could be magical together and they were right. They are a real force to be reckoned with. These girls are absolutely amazing. They are beautiful on the inside and out. They are sweet and classy young women and it's incredibly refreshing. I feel like we need more of these types of people as role models in our crazy world. We also need more girl groups in the music industry again (girl power!) What makes this group really click is each girl's selflessness - the willingness to share her own dream with three others and to put aside her own agenda in order to further the group as a whole. They are making the most of this very special opportunity and as a proud "raynedrop", I could not be happier to see them supporting each together, improving each week, and living out their dreams. So my song is not only about Lakoda Rayne but it's about these lessons that you learn when you go through life. It's about cherishing the people around you, overcoming adversity, believing in yourself, following your dreams, and taking in every moment life has to offer you because it's all a part of who you're supposed to be.
