It is Wii-exclusive and it´s out now in Japan. The Last Story is the youngest Masterpiece of Software from the Mastermind "Hironobu Sakahuchi". He is also the creator from the well known "Final Fantasy"-game series. All the music in this game comes from "Nobuo Uematsu". Right now "The Last Story" is only availavle in Japanese version. Like this video if you want an LP of this game! :) The trailer for the upcoming game "The Last Story", available for the Nintendo Wii. It is going to be released in Europe in 2012. The Last Story is a JRPG game for the Nintendo Wii developed by Mistwalker, which is the company founded by Hironobu Sakaguchi who is the creator of the Final Fantasy series. Mistwalker is also founded by AQ Interactive. The game has a strategic real-time battle system which uses less-common JRPG mechanics (like third-person shooting). The Last Story also supports online co-operative play and competitive modes. The game is set on Ruli Island (Lazulis Island) which is governed by Count Earl Arganan. The island is located near the entrance of a harbor which is only the entrance to a rugged, mountainous content. The player controls a group of characters that have come from the rugged continent and have travelled to the island in hopes of work.

Let's Play The Last Story (w/ English Subtitles) - Chapter 1 Part 1
Hey guys, thanks for dropping by. This is my first LP ever. I decided to do "The Last Story" because I know there are lots of people out there who want a more detailed description of what's going on in the game. I realize there's a possibility this may be localized, but even if that ends up being the case, I figure this video can at least provide a preview of sorts to those interested. I was originally planning to do Xenoblade and Pandora's Tower as well, but I'm pretty sure Xenoblade is already confirmed for localization, and Pandora's Tower is a bit too expensive to import at the moment (~$80 or more). So I think I'll just focus on The Last Story for now. I intend to post two episodes a week, three if my schedule allows. The actual recording and commentary don't take that long; rather, it's the translating and timing of the subtitles that slows me down. I'll do my best to stick to this schedule, and will let everyone know if I'm falling behind. A note about the subs: I am not a native Japanese speaker, though I have studied for many years. I would really appreciate any feedback, especially from native speakers. I took some liberties with the translation, because literally translating from the Japanese often results in awkward English phrasing. NOTE: Near the end of the video, you may notice a beeping sound in the background. A car alarm went off and my microphone picked it up. This shouldn't pose a problem in future videos. The Last Story has been confirmed for a European launch!! :D The game, alongside another Nintendo Wii JRPG, Pandora's Tower, will be launched sometime in 2012, although an exact release date is not known at this time. The Last Story is an action rpg developed by Mistwalker Corporation and AQ Interactive, and published by Nintendo. Although the game is already out in Japan, it is only being localized now. However, the game will only launch in Europe. Despite the best efforts of the fan movement known as Operation Rainfall, Nintendo of America have yet to announce a release for this game.

This is the intro and some gameplay footage from the Japanese RPG, The Last Story, by Mistwalker. It's currently only available in Japan and only on the Wii, but hopefully we see a localized version for North America. The head of Mistwalker, Hironobu Sakaguchi, is famous for being the creator of the Final Fantasy series. The player controls a group of mercenaries that have come from the desolate continent to Ruli City seeking work. The production staff is trying to limit science fiction elements in the game. Characters Elza (エルザ Eruza?) - The main hero of The Last Story, a strong and agile Swordsman who can unleash powerful Winds from his blade that can combine whit his allies magical ability's to release Special attributes . He lost his family as a child and works as a mercenary to survive. He dreams of becoming a knight. Voiced by Mamoru Miyano. Kanan (カナン?) - The main heroine of the game, Skilled in the use of Holy magic for both healing and offensive purposes. A mysterious girl who is of noble birth and the niece of Count Arganan.
