Marvel Divas: Storm Tribute - My Goddess (X-Men)

Storm (Ororo Iqadi T'Challa, née Munroe) is a fictional character that appears in a number of comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character first appeared in Giant-Size X-Men #1 (May 1975), and was created by writer Len Wein and artist Dave Cockrum. Best known as a longtime member and sometimes leader of the X-Men, Storm is the reigning queen consort of Wakanda, a title held by marriage to King T'Challa, better known as the Black Panther. Storm is one of the most frequently used X-Men, having appeared in most of the comic books, all of the animated television series, nearly all of the video games, and the live-action X-Men film series. Storm is portrayed by Halle Berry in the first three films. Storm first appeared in 1975 in the famous Giant Size X-Men #1 comic, written by Len Wein and pencilled by Dave Cockrum. In this comic, Wein uses a battle against the living island Krakoa to replace the first-generation X-Men of the 1960s with new X-Men.[4] Storm was an amalgamation of several characters Cockrum intended to use for the Legion of Super-Heroes. In a 1999 interview, Cockrum said that the original black female of the Legion would have been called The Black Cat. According to him, she had Storm's costume but without the cape, and a cat-like haircut with tufts for ears. However, other female cat characters like Tigra had appeared, so Cockrum redesigned his new character, giving her white hair and the cape, and created Storm. When colleagues remarked that Storm's ...

AMERICAN SCARY is a look at the nation's tradition of horror hosting, from Zacherley to A. Ghastlee Ghoul. With interviews and footage from major hosts from the 1950s to the present day, such as Zacherley, Vampira, Ghoulardi and others, along with memories from celebrities and fans who were influenced by these hosts, you'll follow this American folk art form from its glamorous beginnings, through repeated waves of popularity in the 1960s and 1970s, to its scrappy resurgence and survival in the current age of cable access and the Internet. American Scary looks to remind people how much fun local TV could be -- and maybe could be again.

Hero Worship - Illyana Rasputin (the first Magik)

Illyana Rasputin was the first Magik, before Amanda Sefton took over. Created by Len Wein and Dave Cockrum, Illyana joined the X-Men in 1975. She is, of course, a human mutant, born on a collective farm in Siberia. She can teleport, travel through time, and do magic, and she has used lots of aliases, including Darkchylde, Lightchylde, and Redflag. Her two older brothers are also mutants. In animations and video games, she has been voiced by Tara Strong and Jeannie Ellis. Music is "The Internacional," national anthem of the Soviet Union.

MUGEN 3 Wolverines, 1 Broly

Wolverine is a fictional superhero who appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character first appeared in Incredible Hulk #180 (October 1974) and was created by writer Len Wein and Marvel art director John Romita Sr., who designed the character, and was first drawn for publication by Herb Trimpe. Wolverine later joined the X-Men's "All New, All Different" roster in Giant-Size X-Men #1 (May 1975). X-Men writer Chris Claremont played a significant role in the character's subsequent development as well as artist/writer John Byrne, who insisted on making the character older than the other X-Men. Artist Frank Miller collaborated with Claremont and helped to revise the character with a four-part eponymous limited series from September to December 1982 in which Wolverine's catch phrase, "I'm the best there is at what I do, but what I do isn't very nice," debuted. Broly (ブロリー, Burorī), is the featured supervillain in the eighth, tenth, and eleventh movies of the series. He is born with a level of power greater than most elite Saiyan warriors, and he is mentally unsettled as an adult, partially due to the crying of the infant Goku in the incubator next to him when they were born. He eventually becomes the "Legendary Super Saiyan" and his destructive tendencies are quelled by a special control device created by scientists for his father, Paragus. After Paragus lures Vegeta, Goku, and their companions to another planet, Broly recalls Goku and goes into a rage. He ...
