We're in Shoreditch, deep in the Eastern heart of London, an area which reminds me of the not so chic looking parts of East Berlin. Here no tourist would ever think of setting a foot, if it wasn't for a cheap curry or the occasional show at the Hoxton Bar. I get off the tube and walk into the direction of The Hoxton Square. The square is a lovely park side surrounded by little bars and restaurants. Outside a beehive of teens on the verge of turning into 20-somethings are picknicking on the grass. Everyone's relaxed and having fun, but not me. I suddenly feel like I turned the wrong corner, something is odd. I make three steps on to the centre walkway and halt again. Everyone is staring at me thinking "What is that old tulip here for?" Convinced that it's just another trick of the mind, I plant myself on the grass inmidst the fledglings and start scanning my bag for some reading material. I have time to kill. Opposite the square's southside, slightly to the right, lies the infamous Hoxton Bar & Kitchen. It's your typical student's bar, long stretched and brimming with activity. Inside it, but slightly hidden behind a corner and a velvet curtain is what I came here for: The backroom club. Tonight it's gonna be packed with old folk. We want to see the Finns in action. It's Liam's night, he'll bring his brother... and dad's waiting in the wings to join them. This particular video captured the moment when dad decided to join the lads on stage.
