Back in 1993, Nirvana's Kurt Cobain had a vision to document the band's rise from scruffy trio to iconic rock band. Sadly, Kurt's project was never finished before he died in '94. His band mates Dave and Krist continued the project while maintaining Kurt's original vision. "Live,Tonight Sold Out" yields a mix of historic live performances with interviews and backstage clips.

This song is described as a track "which embraces feeling over numbness," Amy confirmed, at the world premier of The Open Door in London, England, her soured relationship with ex-boyfriend Shaun Morgan of Seether was the inspiration for this track. Before the release of The Open Door, some fans mistakenly believed Lithium to be a cover of the Nirvana song which bears the same name. However, the two songs are unrelated. Upon release, fan reaction to Lithium has been generally positive. It has been likened to My Immortal as well as tracks from Origin. Some fans view Lithium as The Open Door's first real highlight. At The Open Door premiere in Milan, Amy Lee said that Lithium would be that album's second single. Seeing as this is the one-year anniversary of my column for SeattleWeekly.com, I thought I'd do something different this week and tell the whole story behind the 1992 MTV Music Video Awards when my bass came crashing down on my head. Nirvana showed up for the production of the awards show early in the day at UCLA, west of Hollywood. The show was in the sports arena, and there were mobile houses set up for the performers off an athletic field. We settled into our trailer. In the music world, you show up on time only to wait around a lot. Why not have a beer to take the edge off? Instead of a cold, sudsy treat, I found cans of warm cheap beer. Arg! Might as well let it cool down in the mini-fridge for a while. I walked around and checked out the stage area. Other bands were showing up. I said hello to the fellows in Pearl Jam and the Black Crowes. Sammy Hagar said hi. There was Howard Stern in a suit made to let his bare buttocks hang out. I eventually made it to the food service area, where Kurt and Courtney were at a table with their newborn daughter, Frances. They told me that Axl Rose had walked by and Courtney started teasing him. She yelled, "Axl, Axl—you're the godfather!" Upon hearing this, Axl apparently got very annoyed, walked over to Kurt, and demanded that he keep his woman in line. Kurt turned to Courtney and sarcastically asked his woman to keep in line and left it at that. Axl then split. Of course, Kurt and Courtney were musing over Axl's response in the <b>...</b>

New York Times and Other Media Pushing for Drugging Water Supply Matt Ryan www.infowars.com August 2, 2010 Big Think, a website that interviews scientists and experts in various fields has begun a month-long series called, "Dangerous Ideas" and the first post features drugging the public water supply. The expert they interviewed for this story is Jacob M. Appel, a bioethicist and medical historian, who has written in favor of adding lithium to the public water supply. He states clearly that he believes lithium and other "enhancers" are beneficial additions to our public water supply and any opposition is based on false assumptions that natural water is better than artificially enhanced water. He expanded on this claim in his 2009 article featured in Huffington Post. In the article he cites a Japanese study claiming that lithium reduces suicides. Meanwhile, the New York Times has published a story admitting that drugs are currently in the public water supply. These drugs include Ibuprofen, Naproxen, anti-epileptic and anti-anxiety drugs. Lithium Ion Battery Explosion
Two lithium ion batteries exploding due to overcharging. This isn't to show that lithium batteries are unsafe. I just got bored and decided to blow up a couple cells from an unused battery I had lying around by removing their circuit protection. Explosions are a lot of fun.
