I had the great privilege to see this production in Amsterdam and it was an experience I will never forget. So thank you to everyone that made that night an extraordinary memory!

She studie at the Conservatoire de Musique in Orléans, France and at the University Collage of Opera in Stockholm, graduating in December 1997. She also holds a solist diploma from the Royal Collage of Music in Stockholm. After spectacular preformances in Sweden at the Royal Swedish Opera as Kaja in Sven-David Sandström's opera Staden (The City) and Rosina in Rossini's Barber of Seville, Malena Ernman has become one of the most sought after European singers of her generation. She has appeard in a wide variety of rôles at major venues such as the Théâtre de la Monnaie in Brussles and the Glyndebourne Festival Opera. She has worked with eminent orchestras and conductors including the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Daniel Barneboim, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Herbert Blomstedt and René Jacobs. Malena Ernman also gives numerous solo preformances. She has appeared in Sweden, Other European countries and the USA in works by composers ranging from bach to Schoenberg, Schnitteke and Pärt. She appears frequently on Swedish radio, Where she has sung works by Brahms, Ravel, Debussy, Ives and several Swedish composers.
