So ya Ive had this footage for a while along with the rest of naxx but I thought that I would get this out first since a good amount of people are looking for it. Ill try to finish up naxx vids asap but its finals time so.....please bare with me..... All and all this is a pretty fun fight with alot of fun twists in it. If blizz can make more fights like this they might just make this game worth playing.... Tips: Phase 1: -forgot to say this in the vid, after you go up for the first time make sure you point him away from the raid since he breaths right away when he lands. We have everyone run south (you can turn in the air during the vortex) and the tank faces south than backs up so that when malygos lands he is pointing north. Phase 2: -make sure everyone uses a food buff to get them some more stam, two scions can cast on you at the same time which really hurts. Always keep an eye on your life bar and be ready to pop a health stone and or a pot to stay alive. -the sooner you can get more scions out of the air the lower the raid damage will be and the easier it will be to heal. You can always float near the ground on the disk if you happen to kill all the scions before the lords (which will more than likely never happen) Phase 3: -when it comes time to move for the static field, we ALWAYS move left so that everyone knows which way to go. You can go anyway you want, just make sure EVERYONE goes the same way. -quick overview of the drakes, they use a energy and combo point <b>...</b>

Basically what happened was every time we hit phase 3, nearly the entire raid would have their drakes bug out and they couldn't do anything so naturally we'd wipe every time. We eventually figured out a way to wear Malygos down before sending him into phase 3, so the few people that DIDN'T get bugged out would be able to finish him off easily as soon as phase 3 began. It probably isn't intended so I reported it. Hopefully they fix the issues with the encounter before they fix the only way to currently kill him. Once phase 3 actually WORKS, it'll be extremely fun like the Occulus instance is :D This was the world first kill of Malygos, it took place during wrath beta. You could continue to dps him at range in phase 2 by flying around chasing him on discs, and when he hit enrage it only killed people on the platform, not flying on discs. We 10-manned him on 25-man mode. He hit the enrage timer, but it only lasted 5 minutes then wore off.

Malygos 10 Man Down Strategy Guide Part 1 Of 2 [HD]
Part 2 Link: www.youtube.com -Boss Abilities- -Phase 1- -Vortex- Maly will start flying and cause 20k DMG to the entire raid over 10 sec while spinning everyone in the air. This does not stun anyone and many spells can be used during the vortex, anyone under 20k HP raid buffed should be healed in the vortex, or HoTed before the vortex if they are to survive. -Power Spark- A mob will spawn from portals in space and must be killed before it reaches Maly. If it reaches him he gains a 50% DMG increase, but if you kill it before it reaches Maly everyone in the arcane area where the mob died will gain a 50% DMG increase. -Arcane Breath- This deals around 19k-21k DMG in a long cone, and it also exploads after a few seconds for another 9k-11k DMG in an AoE, this AoE will be around the people or person hit by the first part of Arcane Breath. -Arcane Storm- This is an arcane attack that deals 9k-11k DMG to any random person in the raid. -Phase 2- -Arcane Storm- Same exact thing from Phase 1. -Power Overload- (Purple Bubble) Maly will cast this at a random point on the platform. Anyone hit by this will be knocked back. When this turns into the purple bubble get in it to reduce all arcane DMG by 50%. -Nexus Lords- Mobs that spawn every so often during Phase 2 which must be killed. They do around 9k-11k DMG and can increase their own haste. These can be tanked and drop disks for melee to use to kill them in the air. -Scion of Eternity- Mobs similar to Nexus Lords but hit harder and <b>...</b>

Couple of tips: -Hitting the second vortex most likely means you won't manage in 6 minutes. -Keeping the raid in the middle and rotating Malygos around guarantees double spark stacking. -Make use of every second of spark buff going into Phase 2. -Warlocks can take one for the team and curse Malygos when P3 begins. -5 healer rotation for P3 enables everyone to ignore shield and just dps, unless you get very unlucky with arcane storms & Surge of power in quick succession. Feral Solo: Malygos
Music is... completely unrelated, makes no sense for this fight at all. Whatever, I'm too lazy to search non-recommended tracks. Kind of a 'meh' pull tbh. I did phase 2 OK, but 1 and 3 could have both gone much better (darn sparks floating too high to charge!). It does give a sense of how much you can screw this fight up and still come out ahead though. My best kill was actually about 30 seconds pre-berserk, where I didn't fail any sparks and did p3 well. Same buffs I always use. This boss, unlike most I've posted on, is actually worth doing :D. He's pretty forgiving, and drops a couple of mounts, including the awesome azure drake, which dropped on this kill. New best kill: finished p1 this week before the 3rd vortex, and ended up at like 8:40 for the kill. I love this expertise set.
