My Entry for Alyssa Marie's contest. I heard the beat, as well as the idea for the contest and was more than excited to write/record for it. My verse/chorus is a fictional story piece from the perspective of me writing to my future self about how hard life is. Heads up, the piece is emotional, and somewhat depressing, dealing with issues of suicide and self injurious behaviors. Neither of which I think are a joke, nor do I take either lightly. If anything, the content of my track is to raise awareness that there is help/life does go on. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. And since I know this will be asked over and over, yes it is me singing on the chorus as well. Chorus: I used to revel in happiness, sunshine, laughter... The norm.
