A-Side of new Mazzy single released Oct. 2011. B-side, "Lay Myself Down", I uploaded to You Tube earlier, as it was findable online earlier. (I see some sites now refer to the single as having double-A sides, & no B-side). I now have two different YT uploads of Lay Myself Down available. The first one's here: www.youtube.com It was recorded from the streamed audio at a lower volume level than I'd have liked (my error). Depending on listeners' audio set-ups, this could pose a listening problem, or be an annoyance (or not), so I've uploaded a 2nd recording of Lay Myself Down here: www.youtube.com with volume pre-cranked, ie it's recorded at a louder volume level. Two to choose from! The two new songs, on Mazzy Star's own new Indie label, Rhymes of an Hour Records, are officially available to purchase online as of Oct. 31, 2011. Mazzy's an Indie band now. Support & encourage them by buying their music! This recording comes from a free stream found at this site: fuckyeahmazzystar.tumblr.com. Many other sites are now streaming both new songs. Several sites now report a full Mazzy album & tour are to follow in 2012. It's not official news just yet, as Hope's official site, hopesandoval.com has so far announced just the single. However, her site's webmaster, Colin, left a post at another fan site, mazzystar.nu, promising more news is coming. I wonder, what news might that likely be? An album announcement, followed by news of a major tour, perhaps? Or so we hope - but odds could ...
