Classic Game Room HD reviews the ATGAMES SEGA MEGA DRIVE 20 in 1 video game console. 20 officially licensed games are included in the 20-1 Sega Megadrive from AtGames, it also plays American, Japanese and European Sega Mega Drive (aka Sega Genesis) game cartridges. This is also known by some as the Sega Genesis Model 4 Sega Firecore video game console. This particular unit came donated from Qatar (thank you!) and is not available normally in the West. The AtGames Sega Megadrive 20 in 1 game console has a switch to play NTSC and PAL video games, it comes with 2 controllers and a set of RCA cables for composite video and mono audio. Classic Game Room HD reviews OUT RUN for the Sega Genesis video game console! Out Run is the Sega arcade classic hit designed by Yu Suzuki. This 16-bit conversion of OutRun on the Genesis looks and sounds brilliant. The Mega Drive handles the gameplay in a more solid way than the Sega Master System, although the Master System version remains excellent, just different. Here on the Genesis we get better graphics and smoother gameplay than the older SMS port which enhanced the arcade feel of this Megadrive game. Outrun on the Genesis has 4 songs instead of the standard 3, the car flips over and over and bodies fly out of it, the graphics on the side of the road have more detail. Out Run is an awesome arcade racer and and excellent driving game. Long before we were all obsessed with driving simulators like Gran Turismo 5 and Forza 2 there was Out Run (with several different arcade configurations like a stand up machine with steering wheel and a car shaped sit down machine that moved with the game). Millions of quarters were plugged into Out Run machines around the world giving us the chance to drive a Ferrari Testarossa convertible with a beautiful, shallow bimbo at our side. Ahhhh, the palm trees, smooth beats and blocky things over the road. OUT RUN! Classic Game Room serves up retro video game reviews for retro gamers and new video gamers alike. I'm gonna start uploading random Sonic The Hedgehog zones with me clearing them at my best starting with the original Green Hill Zone. ZONE DESCRIPTION: Green Hill zone is a beautiful tropical land filled with lots of flowers and palmtrees, this zone is where all the animals like to hang out, the scenery is beautiful and there is a breathtaking view of the ocean but unfortunately Dr. Robotnik has left hundreds of crazed robots spreaded through out the area making Sonic's travels a bit challenging. Watch Sonic as he goes around the giant loop, tumble down tunnels, and jumps over crumbling cliffs before you even get a chance to blink. This is the start of Sonic's endless quest to rid planet mobius of the evil Dr Ivo Robotnik. I believe I cleared this zone with every single ring and item box and left nothing out, I don't play Sonic The Hedgehog games just to speed through the whole thing, I take my time through each zone collecting as many rings and item boxes as I can to rack up a big score. This is the PAL 50Hz version of Sonic The Hedgehog and as far as i'm concerned this is how the music is supposed to sound, I grew up with it so It's normal. I'm not knocking the USA/Japanese version but in my opinion the NTSC 60Hz version is extremely difficult to play because you have less time to react to whats happening on screen, plus they butchered the music by making it sound like a thrashed heavy metal band. I now own all the 16-bit Sonic titles in NTSC 60Hz or should I say PAL <b>...</b>

When you first take control of Kyle Reese, you're in the future and fighting your way through an onslaught of HK's and Terminators to get to the time machine that will send you back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor. When you actually get to 1984, you'll find that your biggest enemies are street thugs and cops, all of whom take an immediate disliking to you and will stop at nothing to kill you. Just like in the film, Kyle castrates them with his, er...semi-automatic sawed-off shotgun with infinite cartridges? The cops and thugs are so insulted by your presence that they remain completely oblivious to the towering robotic menace wreaking havoc only feet away from them, killing their buddies and destroying government property. They remain bound and determined to kill only you, and for reasons they don't even understand. Also, just like in the movie, Kyle survives long enough for Sarah to crush the T-800 in the hydraulic press. With Sarah saved and the threat to humanity's only hope eliminated, Kyle inexplicably keels over and dies...just like in the movie. Gastrointestinal disease, perhaps?

www.longplays.org Played By MadMatty Its been said that MUSHA is a superior game to Robo Aleste, but I think its one of those games thats going to have mixed opinions. All the Aleste games seem to follow same formula with each game evolving from the previous and with Robo Aleste the last in the series I think its final form is the better game. Hard Difficulty was selected to play. The bosses still seem rarther simple in that they seem to follow a fixed pattern/firing stratagy. Robo Aleste was a little more frantic so you endup just dodging shots more then actually shooting the boss. As YTube only supports 30 fps, I have uploaded an interpolated version, otherwise you dont see all the gfx/effects. This causes the image to dim and blur abit so to see the 60 fps version you can watch or download from Archive.org via the Longplays site. Technical Note: For some reason, the Gens Avi recorder put out files with different fps rates when splitting (60/50). When forced into nosplit, the resulting file is 60 fps but the first 5 mins of video is a corrupted mess (gfx and audio). I had to record the first level in camtasia and compine the two files. Ive not encountered this issue before.

The controls are well-nigh broken and the framerate drags at certain points, making quite an infuriating and confounding gameplay experience. I chose to play as Grant since his control scheme doesn't seem to suck as much as the raptor's and I prefer a nice arsenal of weapons to play with. If you must play a Jurassic Park game on the Genesis, go with Rampage Edition. It rectifies these problems and is a blast to play overall.

Here's a quick look at a strange device I picked up off ebay recently. It's an officially licensed Sega Mega Drive handheld console made by AtGames. It's main selling point is that it has a built in camera as well as 15 Mega Drive games and an SD card slot so you can watch movies/listen to music etc. It's not a very common device and I thought it was kinda interesting. I was going to go for the infinite Omega sword in the game, but I thought that would make it way too easy so I decided just to stay with the Atomic crossbow instead, its got the same firepower but with worse accuracy. Based on the movie of the same name, various games came out, this one is the Mega Drive/Sega Genesis version, which was ported to DOS. See the DOS version here: www.youtube.com Keep in mind that this has nothing to do with the version released on the SNES. Other ports of the Mega Drive/Sega Genesis version were made for the Amiga and for the NES. The NES version had conversions for the Game Boy and eventually the Game Boy Color. The DOS version features some vocal samples from the movie's acclaimed song A Whole New World, while the console versions feature only synthesized music. The game is pretty good, featuring hand-drawn animations from Disney's animation staff. You can really feel like you're playing Disney's Aladdin while playing this game, unlike some movie games we get these days who are nothing like the movies on which they're based. www.longplays.org Played By /Y\ad/Y\atty I have fond memories of this game on C64 and Amiga so I was interested in how this port turned out. I've played all 3 tracks and used all 3 cars. Its not a bad port, but it shows that loosing quality durring the porting process works both ways, not just Genesis to Amiga ports being worse off. The game to feels alot easier then the other versions as I had no trouble correcting the car direction on fast corners. Normaly id be driving on grass or flying off cliffs on the c64/amiga version. I did try (not shown) to see if their is any better endings, but going slow and taking my time resulted in my loosing the race so Im not sure if there is a different ending to getting arrested.
