Tony Miano, director of Living Waters/Way of the Master's Ambassador's Alliance, gave a sermon recently called "Marks of a Possible False Convert". In it, he identifies several marks that, if a person has, they could be a false convert. These marks include a "theology" called "Open Theism" (God doesn't know the future and learns like we do), another called "Sinless Perfectionism" (a belief that we can attain perfection in this life), and a denial of original sin among others. This is a hard hitting sermon, but it's spoken in love to those who are entangled by these heresies as well as others. During the second day of Ambassador's Academy #12, approximately seventy evangelists blanketed Hollywood BLVD with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We prayed, preached, handed out tracts, and engaged in one on one conversation with lost people. Toward the end of the day most of the evangelists began to assemble near where Tony Miano was open air preaching. By the time I made my way to the gathering-point, Tony had just finished preaching. Most of the evangelists were now in smaller groups, engaged in one on one conversation. I walked up and gathered myself with one such group who was engaging a young man and a very vociferous young lady. The young lady's name is Hazel. I'm not absolutely positive but I think she had been heckling Tony's preaching. As I began to film here conversation with Brother Brett Coronado, it was clear she was agitated about something. As she spoke to Brett, She said something that sounded very familiar to me. When I got home from Academy and had time to sit and think about this encounter, I realized what she had said. Her short but true statement greatly encouraged me and I pray that you too will be encouraged Christian soldier. DON'T QUIT! In this video you'll hear Acts 5:21-32. Listen to it carefully and then watch/listen to Hazel and Brett's short conversation and see if you can detect a similar phrase she used that reminded me of the Bible text.
