Welcome everybody to my compilation video of a few jumps in St. Maarten Island off about a 20+ meter roof during September and October 2011. All of these jumps were my first attempts in my life of these dives ever off any height. No practice jumps. Just pure heart pounding adrenaline rush. These are from the only video capture of each dive, filming from several angles with my friends from the Oasis of the Seas on a day off in St. Maarten. It was Englishman Gary Hunt who left his personal mark on Greek soil by winning the third stop of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series 2011 in Athens on Sunday afternoon. Lake Vouliagmeni was the venue where the 26-year-old took his first season victory and repeated his win in the 2009 final. With a whiff of the Olympic spirit present, Czech Michal Navratil made the extra step to the podium and finished third in front of more than 9000 enthusiastic spectators and Artem Silchenko completed the top spots in second place. The midway stop of the 2011 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series will take place in La Rochelle, France, on June 18, 2011. 70000 spectators, winds up to 37mph (60kph) and 12 athletes competitive to the core. La Rochelle added a few more superlatives to its collection during the 4th stop of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series, while Gary Hunt (GBR) lead the dozen of driven high divers. KINGS OF THE CASTLE Artem Silchenko wins final in Ukraine, Gary Hunt receives 2011 Overall Title Three 10s for one dive and more than 500 points in total - Artem Silchenko broke a personal and a World Series record at the grand final of the 2011 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in Yalta, Ukraine. At the seventh and culminating competition, the Russian made it to the top of the podium for the first time this year, beating the reigning World Series champion Gary Hunt (GBR) by more than 50 points. With today's victory, he secured his second overall place in front of 15000 fans on boats, rocks and the beach surrounding Swallow's Nest castle. Third today and overall finished Czech diver Michal Navratil. From the remote Island of Rapa Nui to Central and North America and back to Europe - a season of the unexpected saw a great showdown on the Crimean peninsula, where the 'brilliant Brit' Gary Hunt defended his overall title and only the top six high divers pre-qualified for next season. CLOSE COMPETITION AND CLOSED ROADS Hunt collects Italian victory in Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series 2011 It was an armada of motorboats and surfboards, and spectators on the surrounding beach that saw the closest battle this season. Reigning champion Gary Hunt had the honour of being awarded winner of this Sunday's competition round of the 2011 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in Italy, ahead of Russia's Artem Silchenko and Czech diver Michal Navratil. The Scaliger Castle in Malcesine was the impressive location for the fifth stop and enticed 15.000 enthusiastic spectators to the Lake Garda hot spot. In the overall standings, the Brit pulls further ahead but leaves the fight for the successive positions tight. On May 15 the historic port of La Rochelle hosted the eagerly-anticipated high diving battle and it exceeded all expectations. The spectators never-ending cheering motivated the athletes to flaunt their jaw-dropping leaps from Saint Nicolas Tower. Stop 2 of Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series 2011 goes to Orlando Duque (COL) In the green heart of the Yucatán jungle, Colombia's Orlando Duque got a second victory under his belt. After winning the kick-off competition in Rapa Nui, the nine-time world champion once more performed outstandingly, receiving two 10s from the judges. The root-covered sacred well in the eco-archaeological park of Cenote Ik Kil, Mexico, was the stunning location for the second stop of the 2011 World Series on April 10, which inspired the world's high diving elite in a close fight for the podium. The World Series' most senior participant, Slava Polyeshchuk from Ukraine, took his first podium finish behind last year's dominator Gary Hunt (GBR). Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series 2011 comes to Ukraine for season's grand finale Exactly one hundred years after Russian architect Leonid Sherwood started to build it in 1911, the "Swallow's Nest" stages the culminating competition in the World Series' third year. The ornate castle near Yalta on the Crimean shore in southern Ukraine provides the perfect backdrop for the crowning of this year's champion. The Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series 2011 continues at the birthplace of modern competitive sports, Athens, Greece, on Sunday, May 22 in an event you can see live on Red Bull TV. Just a stone's throw away from Athens' city centre where the Olympic spirit remains omnipresent, Gary Hunt, Artem Silchenko and Slava Polyeshchuk will be among those fighting it out for victory during the third stop of competition at Lake Vouliagmeni. Fittingly, it is also the occasion at which two-time Olympic gold medallist Greg Louganis will judge a World Series competition for the first time, with the American diving legend taking his place among a five-person judging panel. Unfortunately, however, there will be no Orlando Duque, the all-conquering Colombian, who had won the first two competitions, sustained an ankle injury at the end of April and, though he is recovering well from surgery, the nine-time world champion will take no further part this year. Education in Afghanistan has been affected by the Soviet occupation, as well by the rule of Taleban. Untill middle of 90ies, there were only some 650 schools in the whole country. During Taleban rule, girls were forced to stay at home, and boys education was possible only in religious schools - madrasas Nowadays, children often have to study in tents or rooms without heating and windows. Therefore most of the schools are closed during the entire winter. Czech PRT has started construction of two new girl schools in Khoshi at the end of April. Cooperation among provincial government, local community and PRT played a key role in the preparation of this project. „Every human being has the right to study. Thats why all my daughters will go to the new school, local Khair Muhammad from Khoshi said. „Everyone in Khushi was involved in the discussions about the project and it was approved by our shura. If the school gets attacked by Taleban, we can protect it, he said. PRT focuses mainly on reconstruction of already existing schools, where enough teachers and children are guaranteed. „But in Khoshi, local community and provincial ministry of education agreed on new schools, because local girls had to learn in private houses and mosques before, Michal Navrátil, PRT's civil engineer said.
