Castle of Illusion - Starring Mickey Mouse (Megadrive) - No Damage Boss Run
Just because I LP a game, doesn't mean I won't at some point get round to recording a boss run. I fairly enjoyed my blind run of Castle of Illusion, so I gave it another shot. It's a fairly neat, if easy game. The final boss is pretty annoying though... General Notes: a) This is being played on Hard mode. Basically, say goodbye to projectiles. You also start off with less health (turning the game into Ghouls and Ghosts, haha), theres more enemies and even some of the platforms seem to have been removed. Also, is it just me or do the first two bosses have more health? b) Bosses otherwise generally seem unaffected by the difficulty. Boss Notes: (names completely made up) Faceless Tree: Has harder to dodge acorn patterns than normal mode. It's easier to fight him by standing besides the tree. This also makes his rolling attack easier to dodge. It is entirely possible for the boss to spawn every single acorn at once, in which case you have to stand between one of them to dodge it. It's hard to do, but can be done. Thankfully this is an extremely rare attack. Jack: This guy is an asshole. The Insta-Punches he likes to pull off can really throw you. Basically.. keep ducking. Thankfully he has a set jumping pattern, so it's fairly easy to find a safespot and stay there. He has ALOT of health. It's also fairly easy to miss his head and fall into his body. As I said, this guy is an asshole. Gremlin Totem: Weird boss. Also fairly easy on normal difficulty, as you can stand directly <b>...</b>

The Mickey Mouse Club Story (Complete)
56 years ago this week, ABC debuted the original "Mickey Mouse Club" back in 1955 and it will continue until 1959. Over the years, it was syndicated in reruns until the 1970's. By 1977, it was returned to TV in syndication under the new title "The New Mickey Mouse Club" with different Mouseketeers. By 1989, it was returned once again as "The All-New Mickey Mouse Club" and it was aired on the Disney Channel with new Mouseketeers, but in later seasons, newer members joined the show including Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. Both before they enter the music scene. The show was renamed in the later season under the title MMC. Disney Channel ran that show for 5 seasons until it was canceled in 1995. We're not going to do 3 different versions of the show, but we're going to take you back to 1995 where we will present to you a TV special called "The Mickey Mouse Club". This special was aired on the Disney Channel back in 1995, just shortly after MMC was canceled, and it gives you a inside story about the original Mouseketeers that they are on that show. It was narrated by Frankie Avalon, he was a friend of Annette Funicello. He did many of his hits including the classic "Venus" and other songs. I hope you enjoy this special. I used to like that show, but I'm not a huge fan of the show, because I'm too old for that. Here it is in its entirety.

Donna Loren-Mickey Mouse Club (1957)
Filmed on her 10th birthday, March 7, 1957, this is Donna Loren appearing on the "Talent Roundup" segment of The Mickey Mouse Club. She sings "Pennies From Heaven" and "I Didn't Know The Gun was Loaded". It was the first of many times that Donna and Annette would work together.Donna Loren was the one-and-only "Dr Pepper Girl" from 1963 to 1968. She was signed to a long-term contract with the soft-drink company to sing all television and radio commercials, do all magazine and billboard advertising representing them in every capacity, sometimes sharing the spotlight with "American Bandstand's" Dick Clark. This relationship led to her touring in "Dick Clark's Caravan of Stars" with other popular acts like The Supremes and singing solos in the popular Beach Party films starring Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon. Later, she became the regular female vocalist on the popular 60's American live rock n roll TV show "Shindig" and she appeared in singing and acting roles in many iconic TV shows like "The Monkees", "Batman", "Gomer Pyle", "The Mothers-In-Law", "Red Skelton", "Milton Berle" and various game shows.
